Great Mahi. The underwater picture of it while you were holding it out, with the wild green color is worth framing. Especially now, knowing it's the largest known on record. Even if it's not accepted, you know it, and the beautiful picture will be awesome.

You talked about the Cubera Snapper being juicier than the ones you ate in Florida, but I'm thinking it may have been the cooking technique of being rapped in banana leaves that made the difference ? All in all, It was a fun, and great two-stage video of fishing Columbia & Costa Rica ! I liked the Costa Rica part better because it felt more relaxing to me, and of course, the water was much clearer and bluer !!! Didn't you catch a Monster Mahi Mahi in Puerto Rico ? I thought that one was over 45 pounds ??? If I am mistaken, a CONGRATULATIONS are in order !!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Me my cousin and uncle caught a 55 lbs. mahi mahi and won first place in the mahi mahi category during the Guam international fishing derby in I think 1980 or 81 and I caught a 40 pounder south of agat marina Guam in 1996 at 11 mile.

Congrats. Could you get that balance checked with stamped weights at say 5, 10, 20, 25 & 40 pounds. And signed off by an accredited company to get the record documented? It needs to havea serial no. to be traceable.
