I came over from Conquerer’s Blade, you did videos on that too :) I like that you play NW and do content for it too, and I appreciate the in-depth analysis and gameplay you do for whatever game you play ❤️🔥
Not to insult or anything, but hybrid builds are acutlaly very strong and common in MMO games. Hybrid builds like half dps and half tank is an offtank build, used quite often as engagers in war, or people to tank in dungeons when the main tank uses all of the taunts. The dps/healing hybrid is very bad because you dont do any role in that case, but tank/healing can be very good to keep the healer alive while staying tanky. Not trying to be rude, just trying to spread information :-)
I'm looking forward to playing with you guys again. I will try my best to stick with it this time. lol I do really miss all of you guys, I just feel I would not be able to catch up in CB but starting on the ground floor and in a game where most roles can be useful, I'm approaching it with hopeful optimism. When i actually get in the darn game i plan to do great axe and bow so i can pull people in with the black hole then shoot my aoe poison in there with the bow.
I like the content for sure, just curious as to what you may think about a musket rapier tank. I am downloading the game tonight and trying to build myself a half way decent build since I know more than a new player would when the game comes out.
I’m thinking about a dps style Musket and fire staff or ice gauntlet But never played the game currently installing anyone who has played the beta does that sound like it would work
What would you recommend for players to do with these insane queue times? I was only able to get to 12 before a dc occurred but many of my friends have been able to stay in all day. The queue on our server is currently about 10 hours. With the announcement that we'll be able to server swap for free would it be better to just find the lowest pop servers and level or try to get in to their main server?
Yeah queue times are madness currently, I think hopefully nthey will improve over the next few days but yeah if not i'd swap and find a quieter server!
@@bc3nt as far as I know it's just a general queue to login and secure your spot on the server. Shouldn't be taking spec into consideration for that. Fortunately with the server cap increased and some already leaving the server/game the server I'm on has only a 3 hour max queue time.
@@Chappers.Gaming there are gems to make your weapons scale of focus which is The healer stat but said weapon Will be weaker. I think The first gem you can get gives you 20% scaling IF im not mistaken. My brother played with a life straff and hes self sustain seems to have made up for The lack of dmg
@@Moffattt hmmm that's very interesting, I'm normally a range player ( mainly bow arrow ) or a healer in games. But I wanted to be a helaer as I'm mostly that in most MMOs yeah I know it's simple easy game play being a healers .. but I don't do it for that! I do it for the fun I just enjoy being the life blood of the group. I should take your brothers advice ☺️ and try that.
@@Chappers.Gaming there are 4 other range weapons that fits in but most players goes for The ice gauntlet for The abundence of slows it has or The fire straff for The burst. Both of these weapons has passive that increase your mana regen so they are helpful.
At the moment my class appears to be "Frustrated Gamer in Endless Queue." Started at 7am UK time and 6 and a bit hours later I'm 1736 in the queue. I would have expected better of Amazon really, this is shocking.
An MMO has server issues at launch? NOBODY COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING lmao. Come on dude, of course this is happening, its happened every single time an mmo has launched since the beginning of mmo history, and it will continue to happen every time going forward until people get their heads out of their asses and stop buying these games on day 1. People literally paying money to not play games lol. Wait a week and save yourself the frustration. Imagine what you could have done with those hours you wasted being angry sitting in a queue.
@@KakavashaForever Sorry you've clearly had a crappy time with other games but not all MMORPGs have launches this bad, in fact the two that I've been in on day one (GW2 and SOLO) were just fine in terms of getting people in and playing the games. Although I would agree that most games have teething troubles of some sort, I don't know a single one that was this bad. I had a couple of friends who I was supposed to be meeting up with who were unable to get on despite having queued from this morning until nearly 10pm when the login servers crashed (again) throwing them back to the end of a very long queue. Can you, hand on heart, tell me one single game that was this bad at launch?
@@Binidj WoW (and every expansion since) was this bad, WAR was this bad, Aion was this bad, FFXIV (both times it launched) was this bad, SWTOR was this bad. ESO was this bad. BDO was this bad. EQ2 was this bad. Hell EQ2 had whole servers crashing out multiple times a day for the first week or so. GW2 was alright, except for the constant rubberbanding, loot lag, and server disconnects for the first few days. This may have been dependent on world? Archeage (and all its re-releases) was worse, maybe worst ever for the reroll server launches, those was horrible for like 2 weeks both times I did them. Just had to wait it out since sitting in the queues was pointless as there was no grace period and the servers were unstable as hell. So yeah man, one big MMO in the last 20 years that wasn't a complete shitshow dumpster fire at launch and somehow a bunch of people expected this one to be the one that really bucked the trend for some reason? Hype is a hell of a drug I guess. Like I said, just ignore it or a few days or a week and skip all the frustration.
@@KakavashaForever I don't expect launches to be flawless by any means but this was a shitshow of epic proportions. There was not a single EU server that didn't have a queue less than a thousand (some MUCH higher) yesterday or today. They added some new servers this afternoon which is looking promising but it's like they've learned nothing from their competitors when it comes to server management. I've been present for a number of WoW expansions, and a few other games both expansions and full launches and I can confidently say that none were as disastrous as this. And that's a real shame because once you get to actually play the game, it's great.
@@Binidj You've got blinders on or something dude, people sat in queue for 12+ hours for the last wow expansion and for classic. The difference between those and this is that once you get in the game for NW you can usually stay on as long as you like. With classic the servers shit themselves multiple times dropping everyone back to the login screen. :P As long as they keep spinning up new servers as needed this is as smooth as you can expect from an mmo launch. First day is a shitshow, second day they start putting out the fires, third day forward is relatively smooth. Hopefully you get to play from here out with minimal queues. I type this from my spot in queue right now, I started at 41 and I'm at 10 as I finish this.
@@thomassabino13 I quit anyways, couldn't play with my friends so I made a character in a server with no queue and after 2 days ended up with a 900 player queue, left a bad taste in my mouth..
I guess keeps it simple is there idea.. keeps the non competitive people playing and they can just jump in and play rather then go holy shit I have like 25 buttons to press, personally I don't mind it this way they can add new abilitys as the game goes on..
Please stop moving your mouse off the icons when talking about them. Im reading the tooptip and then you move it away for no reason again and again. Just let the mouse stay on the thing you are talking about.
It's not impossible but remember lifestaff already does ranged damage so your going range and range, i'd be more tempted with something like greataxe or warhammer for lifestaff
