I really loved the wash test and that you had the forethought to make four hats so you could truly compare them all side by side. But knitting machine or not, that was a lot of extra work for our benefit so thank you! Your efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated!
The price of those big balls is actually cheaper than buying the small balls at the Dollar Tree. The balls at the Dollar Tree are $1.25 for 98 yards- yes, it is now the $1.25 Tree😂, and at my store, only a few basic colors. I LOVE Premier Basix yarn. I have to agree with you, for a basic yarn, it is definitely my fav.
I love them both. 🎶🎤Yarn yarn the magical stuff, make someone smile by gifting some fluff. The more you give, the better feel so let’s get yarn no matter the deal 🎺😂 Your channels are the best. So much more enjoyable than TV shows. ✌️❤ 🧶

I am actually using this yarn right now. A friend asked me to make a blanket and picked up SEVERAL balls from The Dollar Tree. Purple, rose and mist. All very pretty colors and it really seems to be working up well. I have so far not had any issues but it does seems to be a little...fuzzy(?) as I handle the yarn more and more. Now, I have to admit that I have no feeling in my hands,neuropathy, SO everything feels soft. Lol Again, I kinda like it. No real issues and I kinda like the way it is draping with the loose stitch I am using. Sorry. I'm always too chatty. 😊 I agree with Crystal. Give it a shot.
On a per yard basis, Just Yarn at Dollar Tree has never been a bargain but it's a great bargain in the large skein. I did a wash and dry test on a lot of yarns. Washed and dried 10 times. Both of these yarns performed great.

I’m just getting familiar with Premier Yarns and have really liked it. I’ve fallen in love with their Anti-Pilling Everyday Worsted. I recently scored around 20 skeins at Goodwill for $1 each, and it is lovely to handle and work with! Enjoy your videos - you make me miss the Midwest! ❤

From my own experience: I purchased several small skeins of Just Yarn from DOLLAR TREE. I needed more of the same color but, Dollar Tree no longer had my color. I took a chance and ordered Premier Basix in the same name color as my Just Yarn. They are identical. I continued with my project with no differences!!
I really appreciate your honest yarn reviews. I really liked that you showed the difference between yarns on your Addi. My Addi just arrived! (I won't let myself open it up until I get some chores done, so I'm getting quite excited.) Keep up the great work you do for us.

My boyfriend and I found the Just Yarn our dollar tree. We both liked it and it was a really good yarn for him because it was affordable & nice enough for him to make his first ever crochet project to see if he even liked to crochet( he did 😁) & if he didn't it wasn't a loss 😉 I'm hoping more people try it out & maybe it'll spark a new hobby for others❤
I’m loving this channel!!! I’m binge watching Crystals tutorials while I crochet my first granny square blanket. It’s just one giant granny square. My goodness I feel like I’ve been working on it forever. These videos help pass the time and I’m learning as well!!❤❤
I love, love my Premier Basix. Then for more heirloom or special gift items your making I love Premier's Basix non pilling yarn. There are other yarns I like but I love their color selection.
I really love the Basix, and I use it on really special items, but I do like the value of the Just Yarn and it works on a lot of the things I make for charity like lap blankets and walker bags etc. Thank you for your thoughts, it's always great to get another opinion.

Just Yarn reminds me of Herrschners Worsted 8. I used both and the Just Yarn I bought at the Dollar Tree. The bigger cities carry it in their Dollar Trees.
Hi Crystal. Thanks so much for your honest opinion. I have bought and used the Premier Just Yarn from my local Dollar Tree. I found it to be a very good and easy yarn to work with and I’m a somewhat newbie. That said I cringed when I saw that it slightly faded after being washed. I actually crocheted my 7 year old grandson a blanket for Christmas using the yarn and I had hopes that it might be one he could perhaps pass on to his child one day. Well let’s hope it doesn’t require too many washes in the next 20 or so years. 🤣

I have used this yarn I purchased at dollar tree I think its fine especially for the price I did not know that there were big ones like this I have only see what the dollar tree sells thank you for sharing
