I came from Los Angeles at age 6 to New Jersey in 2004. I still remember when the former world trade center location was under construction for something. It was just a massive pit.
I was 13 years old in 2004 living in Baruch Lower East Side Manhattan right on the FDR Drive 571 to be exact and I went to PS20 and Marta Valle 25 New York will forever hold a special place in my heart
I was born in NYC and lived there until I was 6 (in 2006) I miss those days... I remember walking everywhere with my mom and having play dates with friends... I also remember I had a chair in my room that was facing out of the window and every morning my mom would braid my hair or put it in piggies or something like that and I could look down out of the window... I live in Houston with my grandparents now and it's just not the same so I watch videos like this just to remember
I literally just moved here to Florida two months ago tomorrow I was born, raised and lived in NYC my entire life (24 and a half years) I’ve been homesick ever since the day I left it’s not the same at all living in different state.
Bro Texas is much better, in NYC a lot of pollution, traffic, gangs, assaults and is so expensive, Texas by much is a better place to live is the cheapest state to live.

I always wanted to go New York. I remember I was in 5th grade my parents said If I get good grades then we’re going to New York. When it was the last day of school June 15, 2004 I got A’s, B’s on my report card and my parents said omg we’re Going to New York on July to August thanks for focusing on school. Ahh memories.
