I was off that day..god bless the brothers who were there cant imagine what my thoughts and actions would be...I lost 14 guys from my firehouse and it will always be with me *..let's carry on and live the best life we can in this unstable world....Peace

John Schroeder was terminated last November. He had tested positive for cocaine, although he denied ever using it, admitting that he drank heavily as a result of stress related to 9/11. OATH recommended in September of 2007 that he be permitted to retire so he could continue to receive his health and pension benefits. Mr. Schroeder had also suffered from lung damage as a result of his work at Ground Zero. In May 2005,

He's still a fdny hero though, went into that North Tower to save others, risked his life like all other first responders that day. And then had to endure the hell of working ground zero in the aftermath.

9/11 TRUTH! There have been comments in other videos that this man, Johnny Schroeder, passed away recently due to a lung illness associated with breathing the toxic air from the events of 9/11. If anyone has a source to confirm that, please share. John T. Schroeder who died on 9/11/2001 was obviously not this man, Johnny Schroeder, in this interview. Johnny Schroeder!!! A true hero! Justice will be served for all who lost their lives due to the events of 9/11.

@@chrismason5905 it doesn't here but I have seen in a couple of comment sections of other videos that he has died from lung related issues due to breathing toxic air on 9/11. I can't find any record of that, now that I try to verify. There was a John T. Schroeder, a stockbroker, who died on the day of 9/11 and I think that may have caused misinformation about the death of this Johnny Schroeder. That's all I can figure.

@@chrismason5905 I know he was alive as of September 11, 2016 because.... Sunday, Sep. 11, 2016 | Johnny Schroeder gave his survivor's testimony as one of the first responders to the attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

How come he doesn't mention the dead body he discovered stuffed in the closet? On an older interview he states that him and his lieutenant found "a body in a closet" on the 3rd floor. Seems that would be something you would never forget about.

Because this guys was obviously confused or making stuff up as he went along. The fact that he thinks The North Tower collapse before the South Tower and he saw both towers collapse even though he was still in the North Tower shows how confused he was.

When i saw on tv the explosion on the second tower,my brother calls me on the phone,( hes in florida,me in Puerto Rico,) he tells me the pentagons been hit,theres going to be a war..( we are both.Vietnam vets)

WTF kind of softball question was that why wouldn't you ask him what he knows he saw and will still stand by after his words in the Loose Change documentary had shown these firefighters knew this was wrong. Why did he say it's always going to be a mystery? HE WAS THERE! Aww what a missed opportunity. He saw molten steel and people on fire from explosions far below any planes.

It's quite a coincidence that EVERY SINGLE FIREFIGHTER or EMT that lived within 3 states says, " our unit was the very 1st firetruck there and we saw the bodies jumping outta windows. I was there to witness the elevators explode. And last they ALWAYS SAY," I remember looking up AND WITNESSING THE 2ND ✈ HIT THE TOWER! " I guess EVERYONE witnessed that second plane and EVERYONE was the first to arrive on scene. 🤦‍♂️

*Normally* Is it that crazy of a job though? Also, this guy has exaggerated his war story each time he tells it. He said he saw the 1st ✈ & "it took us 4 min to arrive and people were landing on us like water balloons. I think his memory is fuzzy because that didn't start happening FOR HOURS AFTER THE BOMBS WENT OFF. Lastly, he keeps saying "civilians" like he's a Marine or something. Buddy you're a glorified EMT

You're are dead wrong people started jumping straight away and the planes hit at 08:46 and 09:03 collapsing at 09:59 and about 10:28am. Not hours as tower 2 collapsed in 55 mins and tower 1 in 1hr42mins.
