For my purposes, the best way to get around the city is by far the subway. Despite its bad rap, it's reliable, costs $127 a month with an unlimited MetroCard, goes to the most active parts of NYC, and you don't have to worry about anything getting stolen. I also bring my e-scooter onto the subway to get the best of both worlds.

My purchase of an ebike was the best thing. NYC has the best transportation options. I recently moved to LA from NYC and I invested in a Monday Motorbike Anza 500w. The best way on getting around LA. So many people have ebikes , etc. LA is not the best with subways n buses so it’s best to invest in an ebike until you get your car or motorcycle. You save sooooooo much money. My ways on getting around NYC was Subways, bicycle, skateboard, city bike and Super 73 Z1

The Super73 looks so badass and bikes in general are my favorite transportation method but I could never get one purely because I'm scared shitless of it getting stolen.
My favorite is ebike, but I hate how it's not as convenient as an eskateboard. But the eskateboard is just too dangerous. It didn't take me long to take a bad fall on one. Escooter just isn't as safe as an ebike but is a better alternative to the ebike. I use Citibike when I dont wanna lug my ebike all the way from staten island to the other boroughs lol

Dope headlight, I use e-citibike for convenience when R train shuts down, like every weekend, but damn it's expensive now, thinking Revel maybe looks cheaper for 1/2 hour ride
If you live there the annual membership for me was like 160 bucks, so it is well worth it if you are there long term. The per ride or per day prices really are not great.

the anxiety that comes with owning an expensive e-bike and being afraid of it being stolen every 5 mins you are away from it, makes this a nodeal for me. think ill go with an e-scooter or something ( but not for rent, actually buying one, its very mobile & you could take it into a store )
5:05: I know this was about EV transportation, but I can't believe you are talking about transportation and didn't mention that you picked up that Revel ev scooter right in front of a Shinola store. This Detroit company makes the possibly the finest bicycles & watches. I would HIGHLY recommend trying one out if you haven't already, although like you said they would probably be prime targets for theft. If you had declare a store the ultimate gentrification champion, Shinola would be darn hard to beat.
@Bretti Conti I know this is an automated reply, but IMHO Bitcoin has kind of been dead money for.awhile. I have $2000 in Bitcoin, but most is from a $400 purchase in 2018. I've done much better with the Ethereum, EthClassic, Dogecoin, and now in the last 2 days: Litecoin.
