Brett Conti is it worth to live there? I was thinking of coming to live to NYC, I’m debating now because it’s so expensive for living but there’s many jobs and good pay though.... I mean I can live with my relatives for free but still I feel I’ll have to somehow give them something of course.. I want to move because I need to save for myself and so I can also get back to college and finish.... I’ve been seeing NY videos a lot lately it seems like it’s a sign for me to go there 😭 I don’t know I’m so confused
I was born in NYC back in the early 1960s and lived there until I was 5. I grew up in Los Angeles. But NYC is, and always will be, home. I go back once every year or so and always feel more at home there than I do here in L.A. New York is truly a fabulous, one-of-a-kind town. Always was, always will be. Keep up the good work, Brett!
Travelwithchris absolutely! Although I think this is a different perspective of the city - aimed towards people who only know it for the Downtown buzz locations. For me, having been raised in Harlem - would say that places such as Washington Heights, the Bronx, Harlem - less touristy places is what drives the city’s culture and what truly makes it the husstle city

Love it Brett! My wife and I enjoy and love NYC so much. We were there last year during Christmas and New Years for our honeymoon but there wasn’t any snow and we never actually got to experience the true snowy holiday moment in NYC and sounds like it’s snowing there nowadays, bummer. But anyhow, your videos about NYC makes us want to come back there any moment. Great job man, love your videos and the fact man reminds me so much of my friend in Texas. Great work Chris
I've lived a lot of places but I consider myself a Texan and I love the south. BUT when I went to visit New York City for the first time in my adult life at the beginning of December 2019, I felt everything you described in this video even though I was there for only 48 hours! The city is pure ENERGY! I am entranced by your city and I can't wait to go back and see what it's like in the summertime! 💕

It'd be super cool if you made a video on how you stay on your board in the winter months in NYC. I'm moving there in about 6 months and was wondering how you stay active/moving around, especially on a skateboard.
Here's the thing, for a feedback... I used to watch (binge watching) your vids a year ago since it gave me the feeling I'm there, True, your edit has improved, as your color grading, but what I liked about your vids is the authenticity, the rawness, the I AM there, not sure I can explain but these days it's like any other vloger. Your choice.. I would though, edit the sound differently,, you need to lower the BG music so your voice is heard.. currently they are competing one another. Anyway, cheers.
Hen Papirman I definitely agree I did the same thing binge all his video and from those videos they really improved over time and got better but I do miss his skate vid or night vlogs he use to do
would've been cool if you went to some real neighborhoods where actual new yorkers live, there's some crazy energy out there too. might have felt a bit more authentic that way. but still, it was a nice video and the energy of part of the city was really felt in it.
