Thanks for the video, great insight you provided. I have my "Selection Day" this Saturday, but i'm having second thoughts. I'm not sure if i'm too old for this program, I have 17 years experience in another field, and I think for the most part participants are somewhat younger. To be honest, I would love to become a NYC teacher to help out the community, but the financial aspect of the job for someone that is just starting is definitely a road block. Thanks for keeping it real though, you seem to be having a lot of fun

Hi. Thank you very much. Questions: What does it cost to rent a 1 bdrm around Pace U. Are all Fellows sent to Pace U. Anyone at NYU or Columbia? After 6 weeks of summer, they send you to a school in NYC, yes? Did you get a 4000 dollar paycheck each month after 6 weeks when working at the school? What percentage dropped out? What percentage got declined a school position after 6 weeks? How long do you need to work at the assigned school? How long do you need to study at Pace to get the teaching certificate? My assigned area is biology 7-12 and I am also located in Queens. What school are you teaching in right now? Also, I already have a masters degree in education, would they make me do masters in biology? What’s your major for masters?

hey Andre! im currently in the process of becoming a teaching fellow. I am stuck on the lesson plan because I am not sure if I should gear my lesson toward the population in my subject area which is Sp Ed or should i gear it more toward a gener education aspect. Any pointers will be helpful!
