I must admit, as much as I I enjoy riding in NYC, lately it’s just not convenient anymore for any vehicle to go into Manhattan. There has been so many newly installed cameras of all sorts: from speed to noise. I get it. Many have been installed before, but now, it’s just a ridiculous amount! Speed cameras alone went from 750 in 2014 to 2,500 ten years later. I’d rather enjoy my bikes on open roads rather than go slow in the heat with the risk of getting a $35-$50 ticket. Let’s not forget about the toll they’ve tried implementing that luckily was postponed for now since so many complaints came in.
