On Monday, New York City's Department of Sanitation unveiled the first-ever official trash pickup bin.
The city said it's the cheapest one of its quality. Whether residents get the official bin or buy on their own, any building with one to nine units will need to have one by Nov. 12, when new container rules go into effect.
