I'll be the first to say it....this is some real racist shit, treating neighborhoods where people live like it's national geographic. @CharlieBo313 With all due respect, fuck you.

@Groovy J Well it was in my opinion dangerous in the sense of drug pushers or robbery now it is hazardous for a corruption of authority looking the other way for violence and sexual assault.
@boof toot tell em about it. People think this is the nyc worst hoods please. NYC in the 80s and 90s was the worst. These videos are opportunities for Detroit and other hoods to talk shit lmao
Omg.....this is so common in ny. As a kid i always wondered where they were going. Idk if you remember Nightmare on Elm st pt 2 School bus scene.....i always pictured that. 😂😂😂😂

I think Detroit and Baltimore have it much worse. I remember driving through Baltimore and dudes or blood gangs stood or sat on their stoops looking right at you like "they ain't from round here." There was absolutely nothing there but like a corner bodega after every number of blocks and abandoned homes. It was depressing to see. NY definitely has it's WTF moments, but B More and Detroit---Risky. I just hope things get better all around. No more poverty.
The only bad parts are Bronx and a few areas in Brooklyn and queens, Manhattan and Staten Island are very safe, and even the “bad” neighborhoods are relatively safe.
America is so weird. Roads are damaged, litter is everywhere, buildings are falling apart, homeless wandering the street but every car looks new and pristine 😮

Y'all think Bronx is dangerous? Then come to the brazilian favelas in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro Here in São Paulo, homicides and selling drugs is kinda normal but in Rio is way more crazy
I’m from São Paulo, and São Paulo is like NYC because of the buildings and architecture, and it’s a rich city , but out of the center region, in the favelas (the hoods) shit is crazy asf
NYC is one of those places you got to experience, plus half the crime don’t even happen at night. Few weeks ago some dude got shot in a drive-by while he was walking with his daughter on my block... at 2PM in broad daylight in the BX. Ain’t even wait till he wasnt w his kid smh. Tbh also, this one of those places mostly if you tryna find trouble then trouble gon find you (dude was the target for the drive by) . If you keep your head above water and your hands clean.. you’ll be iight..
Good video but you don’t get the true feel of Brownsville until you walk through the projects and go up in the building lobbies. It’s tense there. Last non-gentrified section of BK, except for parts of East NY and Canarsie.
I love watching ur vids but it’s sad to see that all the ppl in comments r arguing over which hoods r the worst and how they used to be worse back in the day lmao
Thank you for the time/space record delivery. Sorry for yet another delay. I had to inspect former Jesuit land in my sector. Most all symptom energies were manifest on your drive (nice editing). That downright hurt. I'll try to do the vids I missed before I go to sleep. Love, mox.
I'm from South Dallas, but lived all over New York City over a span of 30 years. And I'd have to honestly say that even South Dallas is more treacherous than any of New York City's five buroughs. I do rememeber New York City being much worse in the 1980s. But today, New York is comparably friendly. Sure, there's crime and a steady body count, nevertheless. I've also been robbed and had guns pulled on me in New York. But overall, I think that New York City is one of the most safe cities in the US. I even remember Boston, whch is where I'd lived for a couple of years, as being worse than New York. Anyway, the footage is wonderful. Been living in Stockholm and Copenhagen for the last 6 years. And I love and enjoy living over here! But I really miss New York! Not a day goes by that I don't think of New York! So it's really comforting to watch this video. Thank you again!
I'm a New Yorker and most areas are relatively safe. However, since De Blasio has become mayor, the quality of life here has definitely declined. That inept and corrupt creep is toxic for our city. The neighborhoods that have the large city housing projects are the most dangerous parts of NYC.
@@whattoexpect8731 yes indeed . A hybrid of it is present .or one can say a section of those government are . They handle it in a communist manner if you like. But they invest in the infrastructure and in the people .education etc The United States just keeps the gains in the pockets of a few .
I've read comments about NY crime levels and overall atmosphere starting to resemble the ones from 70s due to DeBlasio, riots and financianal crisis. How true is that statement as of now?
Looks like parts of Brooklyn, once this video gets rolling a few minutes in.... recognize a couple of places that appear to be near Coney Island near the Marboro Projects ??? Haven't been there in a long time so I could be wrong.... CharlieBo keep these video's coming, they are great !!
They are the worst neighborhoods. I can say this because I lived there for almost 30 years until God blessed me and my family with a brand new home. It took years of prayer, hard work, etc but God has been faithful over all that He has given me and my family. My prayer is that those who are still stuck in those neighborhoods stay focus and positive. I encourage people to keep God first, maintain good credit and build a plan to move forward. Anything is possible with God
TheRoyal3rddd Hunts Point/Soundview/S. Bronx are still pretty rough. Tbh, each borough has its rough/dangerous parts (even Staten Island). You just gotta have enough street smarts that’s all.
Hey C, john from auckland, you just keep doin it like the winter there is just wicked, you guys need some real sorting, please be with the company if there is one, be safe bro
Things changed over the past 15 years. There has been a massive increase in NYPD presence including gunshot sensors, cameras, and foot patrols. Areas like bed stuy and bushwick are gentrifying rapidly. It's really not that bad anymore, but I would for sure not walk around off a main avenue / street at night by myself. Born and raised in Brooklyn.
I got you. It’s like that in London too. If the Main Street looks shit boy you don’t want to wonder off two three streets after that by yourself at night.
I watch damn near all your vids bro been wondering when you was going to show Brownsville some love I would’ve gave you a real tour of my hood lol!!! Keep going where these fake tough guys won’t bro!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
It appears that the City of New York has been very aggressive in cleaning up these poor hoods. Looks like they demolished a lot of the old brick slum tenements and rowhouses. These hoods are utopia compared to Baltimore, Memphis, and Detroit.
Born & raised in New York! However, with the high cost of living, crowded, crime, rats, unemployment, drugs, gangs, etc. I had to leave!!! So glad to leave the PJ's! Move to another state, attended college, & now I have a better quality of life!!!!
It's all an illusion. NYC people need to get over it, LA and Cali will always be home to what America likes to push out to it's urban audience. It's like WWII propaganda all over again, where Hollywood made D-Day and everything vs the Germans look like war on steroids meanwhile over in the Pacific and Pearl Harbor, it was all dream, picnic, day in the park etc. We all know the American vets from the Pacific had it worst vs the Americans in Eastern Europe. Same goes for NYC vs LA/Cali. North east weather alone makes NYC tougher to live in. NY residents all over that state starting in the white towns up north near the Canadian border are more gritty. It's like people from that state just seems more edgy 24/7 and plain old mean. LA and Cali has that laid back weather and mindset to go with it. Both cities never stopped being the hubs for drugs, gang violence, sex trafficking etc and that right there was the illusion my friend. You think shit stops and becomes more soft just because you see more hipster's in the Bay Area or in downtown Harlem? Now legal type of gang activity is moving steadily fast into each city, bringing the worst kind of street politics aka old white man money (capitalism) Starbucks, Hobby Lobby, more Walmarts etc. Shit was never back since the mid to late 90s, all you see are demographics now moving next to the slums while people who got pushed out are now going to unmarked territory( go ask how the locals do it in DC). The elites have us right where they want us (you). Lol you're the kind that needs Method man or Nas to rep NYC to feel "it's back" smh ya sheep.
@@andrettitalk9535 I don't get your talk about WW2, you are saying that US soldiers fought in Eastern Europe? And that the Pacific vets somehow had it worse that the European theatre vets? When you start your argument with such nonsense it is somewhat hard to take the rest of it seriously.
You should of listed which part of new city you were driving through because a lot of people think NYC is just lower and mid Manhattan I dont realise that NYC is 5 borough's
Should've came to BedStuy in 95 HAHA. Was rough man. Be out at baseball practice and then out of nowwhere, someone shooting in the park. Every week. Crazy how Brooklyn changed with gentrification but man, some hoods still the same :0
Those areas used to be A LOT worst in the 80s and 90s... Looks like they cleaned it up. Grew up in New york in the 80s and 90s and moved to Atlanta Georgia in the 2001. I've come a LONG way lol.
We are looking at these neighborhoods at night during winter , it’s cold and hardly no one is outside, i don’t see trash anywhere at all , well there some areas with trash
I'm from nyc Brownsville I will admit Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland,Philly, Chicago and Florida has it worst but in NYC our main problem is being overcrowded and projects bunched together why there's so much killings ,its a whole different jungle but at the end of the day poverty and struggle is in all states and countries
@Portargo I thinks it's because I have traveled and seen a lot of different states and places so I literally know , but most that swear there hood is the worst have only been to there hood only 😂 they don't travel so they don't really see no other hoods or places
@@TheBikemaster94 Of course there are such places. These are smaller areas and have different characteristics. Districts of thieves, dealers, pathologies. There is one, the main difference we dont have black people.
After all these years, I did not know the project housing in the boroughs had parking lots. You only get to see parking on side the streets when they show it on t.v.
@@lamBETTERthanY0U yea I know its a lot of units in each building. But the media(movies & t.v. shows & music videos) makes it seems as if the people who live in the city, can't afford cars.

I noticed as of recently here in NYC that the closer you get to manhattan the less "hood" it gets. All east brooklyn is pretty rough and same with alot of queens. For Long Island in nassau county only hempsted is really bad and in suffolk county wyndanch, copaigue and the indian reservations are wild as fuck.
