Mac Dre is from Vallejo CA, crew called the Romper Room, started the thizz movement early 2000s. Went to jail because somebody who used to be in their crew was a federal informant and they were robbing banks. But Dre wasn't part of the bank robbery but they sent him to the pen for 6 to 8 years for not telling on anybody. Was murdered in Kansas City he had followers all over the globe Northern California took a big loss when he was murdered. Do your research on Thiz Nation. One Love from East Oakland ca. Mac Dre era was the 80s, 90s, 00s but he passed away in 2004. He is definitely on the west coast Mount Rushmore. Btw I’m proud of both of y’all for noticing two things: Mac Dre had a huge influence on the Midwest in particular in Detroit and in Kansas City (where he was killed).
