Im from Southern California and Mac Dre is considered a legend out here fa sho. His music still goin crazy 20 years later. Its dope to see yall reacting to west coast music. we get to see the east coast homies think lol yall got the best music reaction channel hands down! 💯
Mac Dre is from Vallejo CA, crew called the Romper Room, started the thizz movement early 2000s. Went to jail because somebody who used to be in their crew was a federal informant and they were robbing banks. But Dre wasn't part of the bank robbery but they sent him to the pen for 6 to 8 years for not telling on anybody. Was murdered in Kansas City he had followers all over the globe Northern California took a big loss when he was murdered. Do your research on Thiz Nation. One Love from East Oakland ca. Brah you do not look 15 years old I thought you were like 22, keep carrying yourself well young man. Love and blessings
He dropped Rapper Gone Bad when he got out and was not Thizz yet well at least that name was not used yet. I don't think Miami the Most has even made that word up yet@@cityboithump
Check out his album “stupid doo doo dumb” it’s his first album he released after doing time in prison for conspiracy of bank robbery. There’s a track on that album called “life’s a bitch” listen to it and it’ll tell you bout his life.
Mac Dre era was the 80s, 90s, 00s but he passed away in 2004. He is definitely on the west coast Mount Rushmore. Btw I’m proud of both of y’all for noticing two things: Mac Dre had a huge influence on the Midwest in particular in Detroit and in Kansas City (where he was killed). The Detroit and LA style you hear now is inspired by Mac Dre.
Saw a tech n9ne show a couple days after mac was killed and it was in Santa Cruz CA ……shit was tense man…..you know how is not cal bruthas do shit…..people were maaadddd as fuuuck!
Finally did some Mac Dre Mac Dre's style changed multiple times. This is from his last era which was the beginning of the hyphy era. Which was party music. He made gangsta music, conscious songs, and party shit. He was versatile af And he was a solid street dude. He did 5 years for not ratting out his potnas. R.I.P Mac Dre
First rapper to ever record thru prison phone call while serving in the feds. This song a Cali anthem. He promoted independence, started his own label. Y’all should check out Too Hard for The Fuckin’ Radio
Mac Dre was a fun rapper but it’s a whole lotta game in his songs he got so many slaps I can’t even think of what song y’all should react to next but I appreciate y’all for showing the bay some love and I love the father son dynamic y’all got going on 💯
BAY AREA STAND TF UP! Mac Dre a Bay Area legend . Still slapped to this day. You throw any of his songs on in the bay and the party gets lit! Fucks with y’all for reacting!

Mac dre has a music video called boss tycoon, react to it sometime, u get the vibe and culture more since u can see it and yea, mac Dre music is not serious tones its mostly fun music
Mac Dre was a big part of the hyphy movement some of the word play in his raps was playing around because making music is supposed to be fun make people laugh and have a good time wether you were in a car with friends or in a club with the baddies when his music came on not one person was standing around .
I always said there were 2 Mac Dre's. One before he went to prison and one when he came out. Both are the bomb. He started the Hyphy movment in the bay. I personal favorite is 2 hard for the radion and California livin'

Yea Detroit got a lot of its style from Mac Dre. The Bay and Detroit is connected, iykyk. Mac Dre was the first "gangster rapper" to fuck around like that in music, and plus he was a pimp from the Bay so he had that ism. He was the first rapper to ever record music from jail too. He actually taught X-raided how to record in prison.
Bro gotta get into Mac Dre, fasho won’t be disappointed. My top songs from him are -let’s all get down -too hard for fuckin radio -life’s a bitch All his music don’t miss tho
The real ones die, after his death so many people brought his style to their regions. Stinc team was heavily influenced by Mac Dre for one, but look outside of Cali
Yeah also the reason his raps are fun is because he was locked up for 5 years for a crime he didn’t do, but was still considered an accessory. Yo pops knows his hip hop
