Mexicans is a nationality not a race, he’s mexican he just has more African genetics then the average mexican. Most Mexicans have indigenous and Spanish genetics.

The language we speak is determined by who colonized our ancestors. The English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French in this hemisphere. He is Mexican in culture 100%. But his ancestors and phenotype are West African. There is beauty in both. Two beautiful Warrior cultures. And remember, when Mexico outlawed slavery it was headed by an Afro-Mexican Vicente Guerrero
He’s Afro-Mexican. Veracruz and Guerrero has the biggest populations of Afro Mexicans. Africans came from the Trans Atlantic slave trade and some African American slaves escaped to Mexico during 1810s right when the Mexican Independence war was happening and a second wave when the abolition of slavery in Mexico happened in 1829. There was also a lesser known underground railroad to Mexico as well.
