Plaids, geometrics, large prints, bright colors, shiny fabrics and white just make me look fatter. I definitely don't like that grade-school flower pattern. I prefer small or medium prints with a dark skirt or pants. Glad to see the high waistline and mid-calf hemline.
I hated the "60's" when it was the 60's. All those blouses with the tie necks, poofy sleeves with sandals, and mismatched kerchief "kind of 60's meets Dr. Zhivago" O ee vay..
me too.....unimaginative....perhaps wearable......but nothing new or awesome......just blah. I am constantly amazed how some designers get accolades for no good reason. I am tired of designers reinventing the wheel by looking at the past İNNOVATİONS and exaggerating aspects of them. I want to see real creativity....by not focusing on past designs. I am also tired of the trainers with a ballgown type of thing.Iris van herpen at least chooses other inspirations eg water. and does amazing things with ordinary fabrics to create the feeling of water.....and sTİLL retains the womanhood aspect at the same time. ......as opposed to the new walk of hands on hips,looking all powerful. We women dont need that...we are powerful, we dont need to tell the world. We are.
Some of the outfits were kind of cute, very simple, everyday wear, nothing fancy or sophisticated. the models were treacherous and took away from the clothes. Who wants to look like these dromedaries who cannot even walk in heels. Please hire the big professionals next time to help sell the clothes.

Well then she must have had a good sense of classic clothing with a feminine flare then..if you notice the mix up of classic mixed with retro going on .sure it's considered a bit conservative as well a young fresh 25 female may wear some of the dresses to work or lunch..depending on her career..
