Marshall your bias against DJ is blinding you. The NY Giants may have the best pass rush in the NFL in 2024. If you just go by man vs man as they line up the Giants D is 9-2 against most Offenses in the NFL. The WR corp may be the fastest and deepest in the NFL. 3 WRs Hyatt, Nabors, Robinson II demand double coverage, then sprinkle in W. Robinson, Hodgins, the TE's Johnson and Bellinger, RB Tracy you have a dynamic arsenal of receivers. The OL will be greatly improved in pass protection with Thomas, Runyan, Schmidt on the Left side and I expect the best on the roster to man the right side Even Carl Banks feels that the roster is ready to compete for the division. So you can take your predictions and use it for toilet wadding as you have yet to identify the true roster integrity and talent. Also you are down on Tre Hawkins what kind of Giants fan are you. A young athlete making the jump from Ole Dominion to the NFL facing receivers among the too 20 in the NFL in his first 8 games for you is a bust? You take nothing if the character of the players into your prognostications. The players GM Shoen has added to the team roster these last 3 years are made of dog mentality. My point is this F**k Vegas they know nothing of the fabric and constitution of the NY Giants roster, the 2024 New York Football Giants on the franchise Centennial season will rise as the new beast of the east . Up and down the roster most of the older players are entering their prime or within 1-3 of NFL experience . It is not a question of who the Giants can beat rather who can stop the Giants!

8-9. The roster will be vastly different from last year. 6 rookies + 13 FAs +? UDFAs. That is more than 1/3 of a 53 man roster. It will be interesting to see how things shake out. Also, a new DC and o-line coach. No where to go but up.

I have been a giants fan since 1985 when I was 10. As a huge fan I have seen ups and downs with this team. I have zero confidence in Daniel Jones. I say 6-11. Get a qb in the draft and move on

I love that this team actually have a future unlike Dave Gettleman Teams during his run😭 All our players are ages 22-26 but if y’all go look at all those Gettleman teams we had a team full of old washed up veterans mixed with trash draft picks🤦🏾 I got us going 10-7 again IF Daniel Jones can outplay his 2022 self and this is the best WR core he’s done ever had

I love the Giants, but I feel like they’re treating this season like a wasted year until they can get a real QB. I think it’s gonna be another rough season. We won’t be able to move the ball reliably, and there’s still some holes in the defense (who are gonna be on the field a lot most likely). I just don’t see a winning team

The past couple of years the giants have been in a lot of very close games. I feel like this year is a better roster than last year but it is a tougher schedule. Giants were close to 8-9 whic isn’t bad. Walker held on td and another game was very close

That is a more negative, but honest view of the G-Men. I could see anywhere from 4-9 wins. Depends on a ton of factors, including the level of Daniel Jones' QB play, coaching decisions, and injuries. A lot can happen, but we shall see. Go Big Blue!

The real one is being real this off season, 7-10, remember last off season when many on this site had 12-5 or even 13-4? I had 8-9 or best case 9-8. Last season schedule was a gauntlet the first half of the year. This season there is actually a chance to go 2-0 to start. I see 5-12 or 6-11 this season also, but not beating Philly in week 7, Philly has beaten Giants in every meaningful game for years. I don’t count week 18 last season as meaningful.

The Giants have not beat the Cowboys since 2020, and that was with Andy Dalton because Mike McCarthy didn't make a challenge which we would have won if he did. And before that was 2016 in Dak Prescott's rookie year

What y’all need is a season that’s not bad enough for Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen to be fired but not good enough for Daniel Jones to return. Daniel Jones isn’t your quarterback of the future, plain and simple. But somebody like Shedeur Sanders, Quinn Ewers or Carson Beck could be.

I would bet under or even. I don't think they win more than 7. Although they improved in many spots they are not in a spot to win more. I have them splitting the first 2 games. Then losing the next 6. So they will be 1-7 to start. At that point Jones will be benched and if they get wins they will be against Washington, Carolina, Tampa and the Colts. They may beat the Eagles if they sit the rest of their team so that should be 6 they could get another win along the way but I don't know where I would put it. Maybe the Steelers but that is a prime time game. We will see. If they win more than great. I am not hoping they lose. I am just giving my opinion.

In order to become the team to beat in the NFC and Super Bowl LIX contenders, the Giants will have to trade Darius Slayton, Evan Neal, 2024 1st-, 4th-, and 7th-round picks, and a 2026 1st-round pick to the Jets for Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner, trade the Seahawks' 2025 5th-round pick and the Bills' 2025 7th-round pick to the Packers for Devonte Wyatt, trade Rakeem Nunez-Roches, 2025 2nd- and 3rd-round picks, and 2026 2nd- and 4th-round picks to the Colts for Quenton Nelson, trade Azeez Ojulari, a 2025 4th-round compensatory pick, and a 2026 conditional 6th-round pick to the Buccaneers for Tristan Wirfs, and trade Darren Waller and D.J. Davidson to the Cardinals for Budda Baker, Trey McBride, and 2025 5th- and 6th-round picks.
