How wasn’t this guy drafted just due to raw talent if everything said in this video was true? 6”4 strong arm with scrambling ability, people have been taken for a lot less.

My Uncle is a diehard NYG fan from the 60’s that lives out in Phoenix, AZ & is a season ticket holder for the AZ Cards, my Uncle has been very high on Peewee Jarrett for the Jets.

Thanks for the update Bud! If anyone watches 5 minutes of film on this kid and you would clearly see he is an uncut diamond in the rough. Jarrett has all the physical tools, is high character, & has a huge chip on his shoulder. For a UFA QB, this is about as good of an add as you can get. 👍 ✈️

Not only does he have arm strength, but his touch passes are insane. Knows when to just angle the throw to drop it to the WR hands. Hope he blossoms to a legit QB

We definetely had a really good draft and did pretty well with the UDFAs. I am curious if we sign anyone from the UFL when the time comes, and hopefully score there as well. I love Jarrett's arm, that thing is a rocket! One other thing, I hope we add a couple more free agents, not sure we have much money to do so.

Our qb room this year is 1000000x better than last years it’s actually crazy

after seeing the tape I see the Tyree comp and like Tyree I think his future is likely as a TE. He is extremely raw but tons of power. The problem is almost all of the highlight throws he made were just having the WR outrun the DB to the ball and it looks great on film but there were no real tight window passes. That alone won't work at the NFL level. What I could see though is, if Travis is the QB of the future having a number of packages with Jarret throwing the deep ball the way we had with Brad Smith so many years ago.

Dude's gonna get a lot of snaps in camp and preseason games due to the age &/or rehab status of the 3 QBs ahead of him. His physical stats are all over the map, listed anywhere from 6'3"-6'5" and 225-240 lbs. On the bigger end, that's Josh Allen territory. On the smaller end, that's like a taller Jalen Hurts. If Peewee can grasp the game at this level, he could be a diamond in the rough. No risk in taking a flyer on the kid.

Hey man this is what i love about having rodgers and tyrod. It allows us to deaft travis and peewee and actually let them groom into actually being a QB. this is what great teams do and sometimes these players turn out to be studs and I think the jets have 2 really good young qbs love this signing

I was just thinking he might get some decent playtime during the preseason. This is because Aaron won't play much at all, and Jordan recovering from injury, and I doubt they want Tyrrod out there playing full games.

When I first saw this YT announcement of Jarrett last week, Obviously I had to see the vids, and I, like you, was totally blown away by this kids arm, not only in strength but in accuracy laying it right into the hands of the receiver with enough distance away from the defender. And yes, his ability to run and strenth to break out of potential tackles is pretty impressive. Then I was like: "Wait! What about Travis'? How are these 2 going to co exist on the same team? If Travis is having great success, then how will Jarrett get a start? I really do not want to lose this kid and will he have the patience to hold the clip board until further notice? Talk about double edged swords!

This is what we need. I told you how I felt about the QB room a few days ago…..DON’T DEPEND ON ROGERS!!!!! We must have three Healthy arms. Dude, been rooting for the Jets , with my every being, before you were a twinkle in your father’s eye.. I know this organization. We still have a head coach that is like a deer caught in headlights when something gos bad. He has to go before this team can win. Otherwise…... CAN’T WAIT!

I saw his tape. He’s got a cute arm, but he was playing against middle schoolers lol. He literally had 10 seconds in the pocket. The nfl will be a humongous leap for him. Wish him the best of luck. Go jets!!

Interesting. Now the JETS have TWO potential franchise QBs… both from Florida. Both with great stories & abilities. Competition is good. Pre-Season will be interesting. Will both end up staying and learning under Rodgers & Taylor?

Guy is from Hoover High in Des Moines. Apparently the grades weren’t good as that’s part of the QB process. Can he retain and carry out plays at the highest level? I guess we might find out.

They took a QB from Florida State. Pee Wee is just a story. Arm strength is secondary to accuracy football IQ.

The one knock I see is he holds the ball trying to make those plays. Reminds me of Lamar Jackson…with a little more size and less speed. If he could stay on script more his comp % would go up. Love the tangibles and hope he can learn and execute at the next level

Joe Douglas is finally getting some quarterbacks that look much better his quarterback history of drafting or getting quarterbacks has been very questionable this year. He got a lot better, and of course, besides Aaron Rodgers he’s a Hall of Famer
