I think Brownlee and Gipson stick around, but if they cut 1 I think it's gonna be Gipson

Lazard frustrated me all last season at this point last WR I want to see on the field for the jets this season. He has a lot to prove for the contract we gave him but I think Brownlee and gipson at this point have a way higher ceiling.

Matt I wouldn’t even count on it being just those two guys for that starting spot. Malik Taylor and 1 or 2 other guys can make a very strong late push for that last WR spot. Don’t count them out just yet

what’s the penalty for cutting allen lazard? i’m not a cap wiz but if it’s not a bad penalty i wouldn’t say he’s a LOCK to make the roster, definitely likely to make it but i can see the jets saving a couple bucks and letting the younger guys step up

If it comes down to either Gipson or Brownlee I would keep Brownlee because Gipson’s skill set is redundant to some others on the roster.

If you don’t understand why people hate Lazard or think it has anything to do with Zach Wilson throwing him the ball then you must not have watched him last season. He gave up on plays. Didn’t continue to find ways to get open, which you need when you have a Swiss cheese o-line. He also played like he was 5’6, just not using his body on catches. And then he was top of the league in drops to round it all off. Laziness and ineptitude.

I would like to see us restructure Lazard's contract. He's being paid to much money for sub par play. I still believe though, with Rogers slinging the rock, Lazard can have a better yr.
