@@GFS695 his fundamentals are showing improvement from just 6 months ago. He didn’t play well, this is true. But you can see on hard knocks how little he learned from LaFleur’s tutelage, to the point where it almost makes more sense to treat him like a rookie now

@@user-td3du7jk2x Rodgers is 10-6 against AFC East opponents... and that includes Brady/Patriots, with absolutely horrible defense, the JETS have perhaps the best defensive team of any team Rodgers has ever played with... he will absolutely love not having to score 30 points and 3-4 TDs just to win an average game. The problem is as great as Rodgers is, asking a guy to score 4 touchdowns EVERY WEEK over a long period, is never gonna produce as many wins as if he has to only score twice a game to cruise home.

Honestly I thought the line would be elite. Even now I still think the potential is super high, you got key guys now either hurt or not playing and I think that impacted this game. Also the jets d-line is absolutely insane

ZW just said it without tact so he took the blame, correctly. The athletic wrote a whole piece about it. Pairing a rookie OC who didn’t want Wilson in the first place with Wilson, might’ve been a bad idea.

Might be the best front 4 in football this year. Will McDonald is a star as well and Jermain Johnson will have a big 2nd year.

It's a good thing Rodgers didn't play... don't want to destroy the fan bases hopes and dreams so quickly. If #12 was anything like he used to be Green Bay would've never let him go. Brady does something unbelievable and at 40+ looks like a God and plays better than he did at 30 and suddenly people think that's the norm for 40 year old Qbs in the NFL..... It's not. And again they see Brady go to a completely new team and win a SB year 1... That doesn't happen(especially for 40 year old Qb) except for Qbs named Brady. Jets fans are in for a rude awakening expecting Rodgers to be a top tier QB still, he wasn't last year and he's not getting better at 40... They said he was bad last year b/c he was playing with several new guys(hmmm.. I wonder if a new team counts as new guys too LOL). But in all seriousness.... At least they've still got Zack Wilson so when Rodgers starts throwing 3 INT a game(2 in the redzone) or goes down, they'll still have a great option.

Because he was a fan, the broadcaster was you heard was Steve Smith who played wide receiver for the Panthers. He would have to go up against Darrelle Revis back in his day. There was a long rivalry between the two.

As a Jets fan, I can't wait for the season to start. Zach has really looked much better.

Well, I am an old Jets fan, and Rodgers should not have all the credit. The playcalling was very smart for Wilson. No plays taking a long time to pen. And one year older helps to call it maturity. rodger's presence of course has had a good effect on everyone. I couldn't stand the guy, but he was a helluva QB watched him play a lot. Rooted against him to win. Since he came here, he is someone I never knew, why didn't I like him. He actually is a pleasant fellow.

Leaking a bunch of lies to media, doubtless one of the "Unnamed insiders " who apparently hated they didn't draft Rodgers more than they loved winning. He got a raw deal at Green Bay after Gutekunt took over.. His fellow team like Davante Adams always spok VERY highly of him as a player. JETS got themselves the GOAT and if they play it right, probably at least 1 or 2 superbowls coming because its a HOF QB with a great TEAM and what appears to be Superb management who knows what they have in Rodgers. I think he's got 2-3 good years left in him at minimum and looking forward to every one of them😊

@@TheAddanz I agree with what you say. I am aware of when Rodgers fell out of favor and he was angry he was not advised they were sending his main man Jodie? Was his name? They traded him into oblivion, I thought that was a very ri=otten thing to do, to take QBs amin weapon from him for an arbitrary reason, so Rodger's attitude was understandable to me, but I guess as you sat this guy had plans that were anti-Rodgers. He made them pay for sure. Frankly, Rodgers will not win an SB here. The HC is inexperienced in championship competitions. this is Rodgers's first year here, and Hackett's first year back with Rodgers, both have to learn the AFC East Which they must defeat, to make it to the distance. The offensive line is suspect. This late in the preseason, they are trying to get competent O-line players. If they succeed, they are a possibility for success. Watching a couple of O-lines the past weekend, the Jets need only one fail to get Rodgers KO'D. The team is not going to leave him standing to beat them. I have watching the AFC East for a number of years. The Patriots will sack you, the Bils will sack you and the Dolphins will sack you. There is no team in this division the Jets, because of Rodgers will walk over, and all of them have good secondarys. This is to say the combo of rush and secondary play will make it very difficult for Rodgers to get to the SB in his time frame of 2 years. He is 39 today in 2 years 41, how long will he want to continue?

I dont think he's ever had a defensive team anything close to as great as the one he has with the JETS. It comes down to the O-Line stopping pass rushers. But his record is pretty good overall, his arm turns good receivers into world beaters & I dont think he's gonna have trouble with dropped passes like he did yeast year. But yeah he always had at least one Probowl quality Offensive Tackle and Guards in his 1st team, sometimes more. But they weren't always healthy. I agree the O-Lines ability to protect him will decide the season, but they also know they HAVE to ...and what he will do if they do their jobs.. that has a way of making players step up, which I really think will happen. Time will tell, but I definitely think the Jets will win the East ... playoffs are always a crap shoot, injuries, bad referee calls, freakish plays and such can put the best team out... as someone who followed Rodgers, I know that too well 😆

Rodgers is a fantastic leader who got a raw deal from the media. I think he's found a team that will treat him well and vice versa... the result will be good things, as a Packers fan who believed players words over media smear campaigns.. I really think this next Jets season and probably 1-2 more are going to be special. Maybe the start of a golden era in JETS football. I know many many Packers fans feel the same. Packers Management has a LOT to answer for if the season goes like we expect. Unfortunately I think they may struggle to win a game... if that plays out, Packers Management needs to go. Keep the coach, sack everyone else.. JETS on the other hand are about to reap the fruits of some really hard work building a great Management team and players to go with it. A lossless season isn't out of the question. I think they are that damned good
