I was probably one of the few people that wanted us to sign Julius that summer. I never could have imagined he would elevate his game this much though. Proud of my guy.
If you look back at one of Kobe interviews he said that people.underrating Randle kobe said the guy could do anything and people.dont know how good he could be. I think he was sending a message for lakers for being stupid for trading him. Kobe said give him time and people will see.how good of a player randle is. I try to look for the interview but cannot find it.
As a Knicks fan I was not a fan of Randle's play last season. However he has been undeniably incredible this season. He shut me up for sure and I'm happy he's on the Knicks.
My thoughts exactly . First season everytime he posted up I was like , “ here comes the spin and turnover . “ But this season once he gets posting I know he’ll make the right play ! I’m proud of him becuase not just anyone can improve as much as he has !

I actually was happy for us because of how he played in New Orleans. Now rj Barrett only 20 and is gonna blossom by the playoffs. We just need a elite pg or 5 to take the next level
I've been a die hard Knicks fan since '92, damn near 30 years, and I have to profess I overstand why Stephen A. made those type comments at the time. I didn't see what's currently happening coming. I'm just overjoyed we didn't waste our doe for those so-called "big name players". We're developing superstars and top players.
SAS isn’t a Knick fan. He’s an ESPN tool “representing Knick fans” to make us look pathetic. That bold and the beautiful looking out the window was where SAS was a joke to me.

Notice how Julius and Reggie Bullock are KEY starters, while Taj they brought back to be a key role player and Bobby Portis they let walk for only half the $31m figure shown on screen. As a Blazer fan it's refreshing to hear the knicks doing well. You always hear about James dolan and his mistakes. Now we have another fun competitive team that I feel have become underdogs in their 7 game win stretch

It is interesting how things turned out. The Knicks got dragged for signing 4 PFs. Randle turned out to be Randle now. Taj proved to be a good second or third center. Morris was traded for a first round pick that became Quickley. Only Portis did not pan out
I even doubted julius. Just goes to show how hard work can really make a difference . If we win a playoff series this year we won as many as we did in the MELO era. Amazing . Let’s go NYK!!!
Bullock played amazing yesterday. Portis literally the only one that wasn't kept. 75% of last year's team is still on this year's roster and they're 4th seed. Fizdale is a fucking fraud. It's time we give management credit for some of these signings. Burke has been good. I don't want Noel to go anywhere else, period. Bullock has improved greatly. Randle is a fucking superstar now after Thibs challenged him to work on his conditioning and he cleaned up a lot of the selfish iso-into-two-defenders bs. Knicks drafted Quickley. Pelle could definitely be a great role player off the bench. ESPN just loved clowning the Knicks when all they really needed was a hard nosed coach who could get these kids to put in WORK.
As someone who watched the knicks to see melo play and having to experience all the lows from Phil jackson to all the bad coach hirings and those trash knicks teams, it's great to see the knicks in this position.

I gave julius another chance and i was like if julius randle can have a coach that can push him and possibly make him an all star, id be happy and boy was i right, we got thibs and julius randle is an all star and a freaking most improved player, not only that but the way he is being the leader of a playoff team, he deserves an all nba selection
