I have a Westie and he is just as stubborn as this Scottie. The Scottie has Scottitude and my Westie has Westitude. It's a real thing. These little dogs are true characters ♥
I raised 5 scotties from puppies. I love each one best. They all had scottitude. That little scottie wants listen to the music. Or maybe he is just tired of walking. Sally 🇺🇸
They're hilarious, I had a Scottish terrier called Molly. I miss her so much, I still cry a decade on. Molly was so sweet and kind, she used to come in and say good morning before school and get me up. I miss playing tug of war with her. Miss all my pets, feel so lonely without them
I see you have made another comment a year previous to this one. This video is one of my favorites. Well, here's a comment to remind you of those small things that make everything worth it. Who knows we all can use a little pick me up, and a little time to meander and smell the...sidewalk crack, a bush corner, a snail, some smell in the grass to rub my back on, that thing over there, and OH YEAH this other thing I was going to do before I saw other people that I might be able to go and say hi to. Best Wishes.
Scotties let you know when they don’t want to hang about especially when you speak to somebody , but when it’s what they want to do you see the result right there lol I miss my wee Scottie dug Wallace big time
Scottitude in action. The accordion is probably more soothing. First time my husband played the bagpipes in front of our Scottie he p'd, the Scottie that is...
The first time my Scottie heard bagpipes (playing amazing grace live on TV), he went crazy and started howling and running around. It really is in their blood!
I totally agree with that Scottie. If it had been Andean folk that man would have had to sit down because I'd have been stubborn for the entire length of the concert. Thank you for videos like this that warm the cockles of the heart.
Just some scottitude, scotties like to do what they want. I raised 5 scotties in 42 years. They were puppies I loved each one best. I love the breed. ❤
I had a Scottie when I was 5, but my parents gave it away because I couldn’t take care of it. Yeah, at 5 lol. Now that I watch videos, I wonder what life would have been like with a Scottie.
You're right: there is some similarity of an accordion sound and bagpipes. I've thought that before on seeing vids of Scotties singing along and wondering if there's not something atavistic still in their DNA. I wonder if this little guy sometimes sings.
One of my westies loves music to. He prefers classic and adores Emilou Harris. He also loves any TV commercial with a dog in it. He even sits still with headphones on. It's cute but kind of weird.
I'd sit and sing old hymns to my westie whenever I was drying him after he'd had a wash because if I didn't he'd keep trying to run off and drag his face along the carpet like a muppet. He'd still drag his face after I'd dried him and sang some songs doing so but at least the carpet wasn't getting wet.
Just today my dog and I went to get her yearly shots. As we were waiting, as usual, my dog was smelling everything. Someone else was watching my dog go at it, and to make small chat I said, "We stop to smell the roses, and she(my dog) well [Shrugged my shoulders]". Well, It must of been too much for someone that must have been 'stopped to watch the Roses'.
Had a Scottie just like this one. Stubbornness is a trait that was bred into them, back when they were working dogs hunting rats, that very stubbornness and independent nature was an asset when it came to killing rats.
Certainly didn't expect that ending, even though I should have LOL!!! I'm going to show this video to a few people... thanks for posting, I love it! 😊❤👍
When the owner put him down on the stairs, I half expected the Scottie to run back up the stairs and resume his position in front of the accordionist!!
Literally the only way he was getting on with the walk was picking the wee lass up and taking her away. My girl is the same if she doesn't want to move, she not gonna. Scotties gonna Scot.
Only thing, so many people don't carry cash anymore. But if you're in a downtown area especially a place like New York where they have street entertainment I think you should carry a little cash just in case. I usually tip buskers because they add so much to the ambience! I want to encourage them to come back!
Mine loved watching football, the show “Gentle Ben,” and the Westminster Kennel Club show. Oh, and my sons’ aquarium fish, especially the little catfish at the bottom❣️
