STORYLINE
The White House dog, Barney, and his fellow four-legged friends Miss Beazley and Kitty star in their annual Christmas show this year, featuring other top dogs from Washington, including the president, George W. Bush himself.
The annual Christmas video by Bush's Scottish terrier is always a blockbuster and this year "Barney's Holiday Extravaganza" is no exception.
Also showing off their acting pedigree are First Lady Laura Bush, presidential advisor Karl Rove, press secretary Tony Snow, Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings and White House chief usher Gary Walters.
The video was designed to give viewers a tour of the White House's holiday decorations.
It features exclusive footage of the president's home from Barney's point of view.
Up to 45-thousand people will tour the White House during the holidays.
Catering demands are massive for a series of private parties hosted by the president and his wife.
The White House expects to get through 2,100 pounds (952.6 kilos) of sweet potatoes, four-thousand pounds (1,814.4 kilos) of shrimp, four-thousand pounds (1,814.4 kilos) of crab claws, plus 100 cases of asparagus, 15-thousand chocolate truffles and 20-thousand cookies.
