Merry Christmas! I think my faves are the guy tanning and the one two across from it. That said, I haven’t see the one you’re holding back so maybe it will be that one! Hype
I’m British, but I’ve lived in and around New York City for most of the past 50 years. A few comments: the church is probably Grace Church on Broadway and 10th Street; the skyscraper is the Empire State Building; and the guy in the subway is definitely in Grand Central Terminal. I know exactly where he’s standing. I’ve never thought of using flash in this way. We’re supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tonight. Maybe I’ll try it.
+@howarddale2984 ah that's great to know! thanks Howard. It was so long ago and during that blizzard I have no memory of where I was walking! If you do go out tonight remember to try flash, it makes all the difference in rain/snow.
Ha! It's been 21 years Nigel! It gets to a point where just knowing I have it is enough. I think that's what some photographers who struggled to get their work out eventually come to realise as well: The satisfaction of making the photograph trumps any sense of pride/accomplishment from getting it published.
