Glad everyone contributed on offense today but especially happy with the progress Volpe on made. It seems like only a week ago his average was in the 190s and now it’s 212. Insane improvement. He is literally the future of this team

Yeah, I love it every time the kid gets a hit. Plus, him getting on base is always a big advantage, because he's shown that he can steal his way from first base all the way to home. 😁

This is what happens when your lineup has no one hitting .300, almost everyone hitting in the low .200s and below. Hits matter. Traditional baseball will always be the right choice. Enough with the 3TO bullshit. No one gives a fuck about OPS+, wRC+, blah blah blah. We wanna see .300 hitters. The home runs are amazing, yes, but let baseball players just play baseball to win games instead of telling them how to win games. Notice how Rizzo is the best 1B in baseball again cause he's doing more than just trying to hit dingers

They don’t have judge, rodon has not thrown an inning and they have the 4th best record in the AL. They’re holding it together ok right now. That being said I still don’t think they’re a top 5 team and are looking at a second round exit yet again.

Hopefully we can keep it going. And is it possible for Stanton to keep producing and step into a Judge like role? And everyone else doing their thing. All the other guys were struggling at the same time. So maybe they can turn it on too

Idk how deep left field is nor do I know if the runner got a good jump… but I DO know that IKF has a freaking cannon. ps IKF IS A DIFFERENT ANIMAL. I like how we go backwards from 9-10 then 6-8 runs lol In the old days we used to let guys finish a game if we were killing. Makes sense to save the bullpen because I know I used to be hungry if I wasn’t used in a few days out of the pen.

Because other then Bader and IKF with a growing Volpe, the team is batting a combined .210 which means every 4th and 5th game they all bust out with hits. The most erratic sloppy Yankee team in Bronx History. If Donaldson and Stanton and the others think this is ok they are either stoned or stupid!

Pitiful the way the announcers try to prop up Schmidt, saying he's "doing better" lately and his ERA is dropping, it's under 5. Wow - an ERA under 5, huh? Gee, maybe he's the new ace of the pitching staff - look out, Gerrit Cole, here comes Clarke Schmidt! (rolling eyes) At least the team seems to recognize the need to score double digit runs when Schmidt is on the mound.

Defense, not perfect, but getting tighter Some timely, RBI hitting Pitching good to excellent When pitching and D are solid, Yanks need just a few timely hits, though I'd like more than to squeak it out...
