Important thing to notice about these highlights: Yankees down 3 runs in the 9th inning...NOBODY left. The stadium is still packed. The fans know not to quit on this team.
Bruh, the commitment is too big.... Us the true fans don't give up ... let's not forget we build up in most part the biggest motivation players need.... Yanks are & will always be my No. 1 team
@@HarrisonHollers Personally I think the difference between 2017 and 2022 is that NY had a fairytale postseason run and didn't even win the division that year. This year, they're steamrolling teams and never go down easy when they lose. 9 walkoff wins before the AS break is simply absurd and they're getting key contributions by everyone except Gallo lol
@@LevsShorts99 I believe that is what Crypto Chris is saying. DJ sprays the ball around the field, so a shift shouldn't affect him as much. If you get Judge, Stanton, Rizzo or in this case, Hicks to hit it on the ground, they're much more likely to pull it right into the heart of the shift.
Absolutely insane. Started out rough but had an an epic ending. Aaron Hicks coming through?! WHAT?! He's been doing well as of late which is great news for him and the team. Judge ends it with a win. What a game! Let's go Yankees!
@@victorrossjr7157 he’s referring to the defensive play but yeah he’s a big issue in this lineup and for the team. He’s got like 80 strikeouts pretty sure he’ll be at around 100 by all star game.
@@jbilla5276 yes I know he was referring to an out Gallo caught that 75% of all right fielders would’ve made. Just thought it was laughable that the 0-4 with 3Ks was ‘overlooked’.
Idk if anyone noticed but in the 9th inning 8 people stepped up to the plate and gallo was the out that was not productive the man stuck out on 3 pitches. I think a fan would of has a better atbat.
LETS GO THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES TO WATCH STANTON GOING OFF WITH A 3 RUN BOMB HICKS CLUCH PIMPED 3 RUN BOMB AND JUDGE DOING WHAT HE DOES AND GETTING HIS SECOND WALK OFF THIS YEAR LETS GOO *i lost a vocal cord hyped on that hicks homer*
That has got to be very deflating for the Astros. They did everything right till the 9th. I am expecting 3 more good games. This Astros team is a nice barometer as to how good this Yankees team really is. Go Yankees!
Slow down this I just the regular season. No doubt the Yankees played very well but the Astros are the ALs kings of the post-season. Yoi don't go to five straight AL championships in a row and winning three of them if youre bums. If Yankees are to win the WS they have to knock oit the Astros
@@giopruneda7266 The Yankees are the major league kings of the post season and regular season throughout the entire history of the game and it's not even debatable. No one will ever catch up to them in total championships and they are the only team with a winning record against every other team they have ever played against throughout the history of the sport. The only title the Astros ever won was the one we now know was achieved dishonestly. Not one person besides fans of the Astros who can't deal with reality understand this.
@@mildredhousefilms ok first of all no one is talking about total championships. Yes they have won the most championships in the PAST. NO one is debating that. But this isn't the past , this isn't the 1920s or 30s or 40s or 50s etc , this is 2022. And you can't possibly judge the success or failure of a team by ONE game. Facts are: in 2022 , not the PAST, like it or not the Astros ARE the team to beat in 2022. Why ? Because they're the AL team to habe gone to the AL championship 5 times in a row ,,, winning three of five. Four WS appearances in 5 yrs. Facts are facts so sit your @@@@ down
Bronx Bombers win in dramatic comeback fashion!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏.That felt like a playoff game no doubt. This team never quits. Judge with the game winner in the 9th. HOU is easily the best team they have played so far and they will fight this entire series. Tomorrow Severino is on the hill. GO YANKEES!!!! 💪😤💪 #CHASEFOR28
So nice to see this never quit attitude (the hallmark of all the great Yankees teams). The 16 pitch at bat by Rizzo in the 7th was the perfect example of "we refuse to lose "
This amazing ‘22 Yankees, is starting to remind me of the 1998 Yankees at 70 games played were 51-19 , won 114 games that season and swept 🧹 the Padres for World Series championship 🏆.
For someone who’s been hating on Hicks all season, I’m truly happy that he’s finally coming around to be the clutch hitter we need him to be. Great job Hicks, keep up the good work. And go Yankees!
I felt the same way about Hicks , I was hoping Carpenter would pinch hit for Hicks, I’m glad Aaron Boone made the right move👍 didn’t give up on Hicks !
Wish we could - arbitration isn't until Friday, though. Even though I believe you can't use the current season in an arbitration hearing....they should lol
35 years only team that resembles them is 98 but this team has more fire power in the line up and the bullpen sans Mariano of course . The tandem of Holmes and king is something special
@@bright6200 btw I saw 98 almost all 162 right through San Diego . This team has JUDGE that team didn’t have possibly the best player in the game . Jeter was good , wasn’t the best
Thank goodness Hicks hasnt given up. The guy can play. His injuries have slowed his progress but i think he comes around. Also, he is clutch. Remember the catch against Minnesota to save that game. The guy competes and it shows me alot that he did that on the first pitch in that situation. That takes confidence. Judge is just learning this year how to be lose and make contact. With his strength he can get alot of hits. He was way too picky before. Now hes doing what i envisioned he always could
Can we please get rid of gallo now like he's clearly the only one on the team not producing the man struck out on 3 pitches. I feel like a fan could of went up there and had a better atbat.
What's not to love about this Yankees team?! "It ain't over till it's over." The greatest Yogi-ism, and it's being proven by our 2022 New York Yankees! Thank you, Dan, for the highlight videos. Now living in Tennessee, it's rare that I get to watch the games on TV.
I know the hits and the bullpen are there for the Yankees this season, but I think there's not enough talk about their heart and their grind. It's the best I've seen from them since I started watching the Yankees.
@@williamhedrick7983 yankee fan myself but every single baseball fan should be watching this series 2 of the best teams in the league if not the best 2 teams going at it
Astros fan here. Yankees played with some serious heart and my hats off to the Yankees. Of course this was to be expected every time these two teams play. Yankees and the Astros are by far the two titans of the AL and i bet anything these two will be fighting for the AL crown. Yankees have to beat Astros to make it
@@giopruneda7266 Thanks..as a Yankees fan..That is very sporting of you...Astros have had our number 3 times in the playoffs, so Yankees need to figure out how to get over that hump, but this win made a statement..We may now have a team that can beat them or at least match them in the postseason...
@@krcjayhawks that was the game that Cashman based his 7 year 70 million dollar contract on I believe. Hicks has flashes, but not sure he deserves 70 million.
I might have to take back all the hate I sent his way since April. Keep it up Aaron,. Us fans are feeling a lot more confident that your ready to join the party. 👍⚾⚡🔥
The Yankees still need to get another outfielder for Gallo before the trade deadline. They will never win a title with him playing. He is the only weak link right now.
A series win here absolutely slams the door on the conversation of who the best team in baseball is. I’d love to see the Yanks ride this momentum into another long win streak
@@mildredhousefilms I mean the Astros have been the kings of the AL for the last 5 years and have been playing really good ball as well. As a Yanks fan I’ll know they’re forreal if we can take this series. You gotta beat the man to be the man.
What a GREAT win by this phenomenal Yankees Team. Wow. What a Team this has become. On a side note: Beltran should NOT be allowed to call games vs the Astros. Bring back Cameron Maybin to do them. He's a lot better anyway.
I don’t even understand why they have Beltran. #1 a member of the Astros when they were doing all the cheating #2 pretty boring dude altogether as a color commentator. #3 Yankees could do a lot better if they want a former player from the Latino community in the broadcast booth. #4 Personally, I’d take A-Rod. #5 Or a zillion others.
@@henryzachary7489 Bingo. I don't like A-Roid either. But like you said... there's a million other good choices. I dig Maybin. But plenty of Latino former players they could go with, if that's something they are trying to do.
This was a special game. Two Modern Rivals. Four 3-run homers. 2 amazing leaping grabs in right field. A walk off hit from a true Yankee Great. Nester running out to home plate with bubble gum. What a game. (For a Yankee fan!)
I know the comeback and offense will rightly get all the press but the pitching keeping the damage to those 2 HRs was actually huge. Jamo's line is not great but he gave us 6 innings when things could have gotten even more out of hand and because we were down we got through it using some of our worse bullpen arms which is a good sign for the rest of the series.
Alot of people will say wait till the Post-season as these games don't mean much. But if we look at the teams the Yankees have beat it sets a good tone for the Post-season. A team that fights until the end, they aren't going away. If the BP has a bad day the bats have their back and vice versa if the bats are hitting picthing has their back great to see. This is what a potential Championship team looks like. Let's Go!
There’s still a lot more baseball to be played this season but I’d be hard pressed to find a bigger home run than that this season for the Yankees. That homer Hicks hit off of the Astros in the 9th inning was epic and the reaction was even more epic. It felt like I was watching a playoff game once the ball left Hicks bat that crowd just erupted it sounded like the old Yankee Stadium I get chills every time I watch this clip.
Amazing comeback but I do hope the starters don’t get into a rut. Also hicks>gallo hicks at least is actively trying to improve himself while Gallo refuses to change
@@victorrossjr7157 Gallo is a career 200 hitter. He is a three outcomes guy, he either walks, strikes out, or homers. That's what he's always been and what he always will be. Trying to make him into a contact hitter would only further screw him up. He's just struggling with all of the extra attention that brings playing in NY and not to mention the big issue with the balls the MLB are using this year are different which is the catalyst for why homers and offense in general is down this year. He's at least playing solid D and he's hit almost as many HRs in June as he did April/May as well as 11 RBis this month versus only 7 the first two months. He's got another couple weeks to start producing or risk losing his job to a potential trade acquisition sometime in late July/beginning of August.
@@Mayunholdup I see him playing until a trade gets made for an outfielder. Either way Gallo won’t be starting in the playoffs if the Yankees are serious about winning. And definitely won’t be with the Yankees next year.
After watching that game today i am not gonna have a voice tomorrow. I felt like i was screaming for 3 hours straight. This is the best yankees team i have ever seen
This 13 game stretch was supposed to be the make or break, as the Yanks saw all the teams at the top of the AL. They've started it 8-2. They are for real.
That's Championship Baseball Right There !!!!! And The CHERRY ON TOP IS THE FACT THAT IT WAS AGAINST HOUSTON MAKES THE DESSERT SO MUCH SWEETER !!!!! QNS/NY STAND THE FUCK UP !!!!!!
The Yankees are unstoppable. Even when they have a bad game with only a few hits they pull off a win. We might just have the next dynasty on our hands🤐
You can feel that homer by Hicks…proud of him. He’s been very clutch last couple of games. Hell the whole team is the definition of clutch. MLB the show this whole team needs stat boosts when being down in a game lol
Yo Hicks, I man up when I am wrong. Keep it up my man as we need everybody to be great if we want 28. Today is my birthday and all I ask for is a sweep. One at a time, so start with tonight. GO Yankees!
As a Astros fan as hard and painful as a loss that was I have a healthy respect for Yankees fans. Hell of a game, exited for what next game has to bring 👍🏻
I’ve never seen a team like this where every game is like a playoff game this early in the season. Hicks absolutely stunted on that HomeRun in the 9th too!
