We don’t know when number 8 left, but I don’t think Yoru ever met them. I’m pretty sure this is someone close to Yoru and not anyone else at the Valorant Protocol. Think about it, Agent 8’s number on their locker was scratched out, and it did not seem fresh at all. It was all smudged, like it had been done a long time ago. Yoru only joined the VP on the day of ‘Retake’ and Valorant Protocol had already been active for quite a few years since then. This should be someone closer to Yoru personally, or someone resembling somebody close to Yoru. Who it might be, I have no idea, but it’s definitely to do with Yoru, and not the VP as a whole.

Yeah pretty much. Riot keeps the lore open so that when push comes to shove and changes are needed they can just add on bits of lore to justify the change.

im a tagalog, the meaning of "ano ba" differs depending on how you're using it. for ex. someone calling you multiple times then it gets annoying you say "ano ba?!" thats when it means "what?!" in neon's context, "ano ba? back up!" is an equivalent to "what the hell? back up!" it really doesn't have a direct english translation but it does share similarities with certain english terms :)

this is just a speculation but i think they might finally be getting closer to agent 8's whereabouts

They're 100% not making an agent with similar powers, they already just released another teleporting agent (Chamber) and have already confirmed they plan on updating yoru to make him better. This could be linked to that

agent 8 was skipped so it seems that they're trying to tie the knots

maybe she has a sword with simlar powers as yoru like teleporting the sword or something
