Also I don't mind Speed Duels, I play more Duel Links, but I definitely collect the cards. I love the fact that we get older cards that were hard to come by, or newer cards that we've never gotten before. As a long time player since the very beginning (Legend of Blue Eyes/Starter Deck Yugi and Kaiba) its also super awesome to see a starter deck for Weevil and Rex, thats always been a long time want for a lot of older players. I love how speed duels allow for that to happen. Great way to breathe new life into an old game.
Like many other formats, it takes time to grow. I would like to see more Speed Duels content (Great job on the video btw). Speed Duels is apparently huge internationally. They had a tournament few months ago. Once the card pool increases more, there's a chance that Speed Duels will become big. Comparing different formats from this game to another, Commander from the MTG scene used to be very small few years ago (similar to Speed Duels today) and now it's huge. Even though packs contains 4 cards each, it shows that a holo card is actually a "rare" card to pull because not every pack is guaranteed to have a holo card in it (similar to OCG packs and stand with the idea of it b/c it would help maintain it's value a bit in the long run by not over saturating the market if the format becomes big).
Marshmallow Zilla speed duel cards can be used in normal duel but except the skill cards can’t be used in normal fuels. Normal duel cards can’t be used in speed duel duels (That’s why I like speed due cards because they are a lot of reprints and actual good cards but not that good to be chained with effect)
Just like eradicating aerosol retribution of the antlion would also be weevil's undoing because it deals you damage whenever an insect type monster you control is sent to the graveyard
Might be in the next pack or two. Website says based around the Duelist Kingdom duellists and Rex used those right. I would be surprised if they didn't add them soon. Especially after seeing cards like slot machine and launcher spider in scars of battle.
i personally think speed duels are a nice side event at main events, and a nice set for reprints of harder to obtain cards from sets that may have a high paywall blocking them. plus it's nice seeing older cards with a rarity bump on them. looking forward to mask of darkness ultra in scars of battle
They also need to make Yu-Gi-Oh! Speed Duel Starter Decks for Espa Roba with Jinzo as part of the deck and for Zane, Bastion, Syrus, Alexis, Chazz, Blair, and Jaden!
I'm never going accept the three zones for monster/trap/spell cards, the problem wasn't the field itself(well I mean it was after they full on butchered it in it current form), it was that a single turn could have dozens upon dozens of moves, so I would have much preferred them to just limit the amount of stuff that can happen during one turn.
Can we get more gilfry in Guilford card support and more Red-Eyes card support I want to see red eyes Ultimate Dragon print it and Black Luster Soldier Support as well that's what I want to see in the future
Mako Tsunami also better be having his own Speed Duel Starter Deck with The Legendary Fisherman, Fortress Whale, Great White, and Amphibian Beast as part of it!
We never got a big insect physical card it was only on yugioh.com I remember because I was really into just getting the cards as a kid for the art and my mom was searching ebay trying to find it only to see people selling it for the online version of the game I went into gamestop seen this starter deck pack and saw big insect on the back of the box and this is how I stumbled upon this video so thank you so much for showing each card and the art I was super excited to buy this and finally have a physical version of that card my childhood dream has finally been fulfilled❤
Serpent night dragon WAS his main monster after Joey got his Red Eyes from him :-) since i kinda don't like it that we only can use speed duel cards (and not also regular cards which are now available in speed duel format) i only buy the skills and some singeles online which i do not have in my large old collection :-D and play for fun
HORRAY for OCG vanilla imports! the pack and the new deck have given us 5 ones. I'm overjoyed about that, it's been 5 years since an vanilla import was seen in a main set, last one was Bolt penguin from primal origin Welcome to the new age Big insect, alensection, Winged cleaver, Fire reaper and blue-eyed sliver zombie (KAIBA: mokuba, what have you done to my pet zombie, that is a disgrace to my beast of destruction)
Just bought this today not a huge fan of the new card smell but I had to make an exception since it's Rex and weevil as of now I'ma keep it sealed till I get another one.

Surprisingly we get a lot of imports from this believe it or not. 3 from the starter deck and 2 from the pack. All on YGOrganization. Looking forward to the starter deck.
I'm really hoping that we get a speed duel jaden deck because i made a hero deck for speed duels casualy at home but dont really have a skill to go with it😂
@@Vamoss39 um this is speed duel versions. Ultra rare, which is only 4 ultras per box. And the set is 8 ultras in total. It is quite hard to find unless you buy from tcgplayer.

I feel like you should be able to use any card that is featured in Duel Links because once you play Duel Links, the card offerings in the TCG version are underwhelming.
Speed Duel starter deck for Weevil, and no Larvae Moth reprint? That’s totally messed up. 😳 Still, I actually like that they did away with the extra cardboard packaging for the individual Decks this time. These Decks don’t need that much packaging.
You mentioned not being able to use normal cards in speed duels. But can i use a card already in speed duels but it doesnt say speed duels. For example i have an older version of insect queen can i use that card as its in speed duels or does it have to say the word speed duels.
Tyrant Dragon was already printed in the Kaiba speed duel deck, serpent was Rex's monster so it made sense that it would be his first go to monster. And Weevil has a DNA surgery skill card that he can use twice per duel. Slightly better than actual DNA surgery since it can easily popped with Twister or Dust Tornado.
Can i use the Call of the Haunted skill card in the regular TCG as a copy of the regular Call of the Haunted? I dont think i can, but i heard many people saying i can
are you allowed to used higher rarity versions of the card in speed duels? I have a secret rare insect queen for the tcg, would I be able to replace the common one since its the same card?
@@wherewolves7741well I know you can use tcg in only tcg and you can use speed duel cards in both tcg and speed duels, but I was just curious if you went to an event if someone would be mad because you swap out a speed duel card for a higher rarity tcg version
so you can use speed duel cards in regular decks but you can't use none-speeder duel cards in speed duels? Is there any other rules? I mean I've seen skills and most of the cards.
I'm a fan of speed duels but you know it's bad when they print a card so underwhelming as corrosive scales, they better not put scrambled egg in this game 😂
