Te Tai Tokerau Northland is New Zealand’s most underrated food region. This subtropical region which spans the top of Aotearoa is brimming with iconic restaurants, top producers and unmissable eats. This 5 part series will canvas the whole of Te Tai Tokerau Northland and share some of our must eat spots for you to visit when you do your own Northland roadie.
This Northland food itinerary starts in Kaiwaka and ends on the Tutukaka Coast and spans 1-3 days. We visit a number of producers, restaurants and cafes that are included in this itinerary but there are a whole load more we didn’t get a chance to include. Eutopia Cafe, 1955 State Highway 1, Kaiwaka 0573. Open 7 days, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 3:00pm and Friday to Sunday 8:30am to 3:30pm.
