toddlk 186 - in case you didn't realize or your low attention span was acting up; it's clearly an advertisement (and quite a high production one at that). I'm sure once they release actual footage you'll have plenty of captivating engine sounds. But yeah the purpose of a trailer is to showcase the emotion of something (the sights sounds, & feeling). It hit all 3. Trailers usually have music in case you didn't realize or have never been to a movie theater.

toddlk 186 - i'm not arguing that you're supposed to like the same things as everyone else, I'm simply pointing out the differences between an advertisement & the actual footage the video is advertising. Clearly this video is an advertisement so why would you hate on it and dislike it? That's just a really douche bag thing to do, so deal with that. You basically just admitted to thumbs downing something that probably took ARiemann1 a lot to create. If you don't like something then create it yourself, otherwise why dislike someone else's hard labor?

Why are you on a 250 2 stroke motocross bike at 60 years old? Buy a 300 xc Enduro bike and tame it down a bit with the power valve, then you'll be set up for the bush.

RlCK SANSHEZ well people are one thing but the landscape looks amazing. I'm in Canada and there isn't much here that looks even remotely close to that

Internet commenters are much more unreliable than any KTM has ever been. Name a single brand of motorcycle that can take the beating these ADV KTM bikes take, the big jumps, the river dives, the hits, the crashes, the distances they go without falling to pieces. These are durable, tough, well built, high quality, technology loaded machines built to do exactly what's being shown in the videos. They aren't road bikes with crash bars fitted. They are off-road bikes that happen to be decent pavement mile-munchers. Take any bike into tough conditions and your maintenance schedule will increase if you want any longevity from your machine. Neglect maintenance while thrashing through the offroad and watch something wear out or break. It's not KTM's fault in this case.

hey man, whats´up! as a video maker myself, thats a common effect we use to give more "imersion" on the film, its called FOLEY, when the oudio from the real footage is not that good, . if there is too much wind, or there is no mic to record, u use other sound or sound from other footage to cover up. Please wach terminator 2. John´s bike is a xr80 and the sound is from a cr80... Seea ya! :)

It was a rhetorical statement implying this "immersive" shite wasn;t warrented. The rest of his videos are excellent, thats why I was surprised by the questionable sound edit. His cinematography stands on it's own. Thanks for your input though.That's not sarcasm by the way.

You're right, those cheesey vroom vroom sounds have been keeping me up at night. I can't go on with my day to day bc of this damn video's soundtrack. And with that just, like being your opinion, man. I'll keep mine like you are able to keep yours. Thanks for your input, maybe I'll be able to finally get some sleep.

I wouldn't worry. Regular Joe will swing one leg over a bike like this and drop it in the parking lot trying to get the kickstand up. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble on the road with a bike that's too powerful, but try taking it off the tarmac and you find your limits pretty quickly. You don't get any where near gnarly stunts like the ones featured here until you're good enough to even get in position. (Speaking as someone whose first bike is a 660cc Yamaha Ténéré that I've dropped a few times in the dirt.)

Caleb, I can vouch for that observation. I watched Chris Birch railing on an 1190 a couple years ago and decided I'd test my off-road skills with my Aprilia Caponord. Half way around a "beginner" track of river rocks and dumping it twice at zero mph, I quickly realized I had no skills and no justification to ride a 500 pound rig on that terrain. So I picked up a KLX 300 for trails and a 640 Adventure for modest adventure touring. Time and courage are my limiting factors. Humble pie is good for the soul.
