This New Zealand Army Band cover of ’35’ by Ka Hao ft. Rob Ruha is dedicated to all of those effected by #CycloneGabrielle.
The song celebrates Tairāwhiti and life on State Highway 35, on the East Coast of the North Island, from Ōpōtiki to Gisborne - all areas which have seen true devastation and loss over the past month.
All our aroha goes out to you.

That's a Good moral booster...showing support. Don't forget matua atua ariki rangi.....where the rain came from. The question we should always ask ourselves...why? Or are we just going to sing ourselves to destruction. I have to say the tuff stuff. Although I love my nz family. Don't forget 3CI Courage Commitment Conradship Most importantly Integrity Which covers things like truth...trust....honesty.....doing things properly and not half arsed.....following the standards, and exceeding them Asnzs. What does that stand for. That's a protective umbrella for when the rain comes. If your not under those standards of protection....its tuff. The wheels fall off when you really need them to stay on. Aroha rangi Mai atu Kea tenei ra.

Shush Up don't c u on u-tube 🤣 Typical Maori don't appreciate those for trying and also running them down.. look at it as promoting the language of cultural diversity in this country.. at the end of the day they are vary talented..

This is nice, but why does NZ military PR exclusively focus on Maori culture? What about the English culture that represents the vast majority of New Zealanders?

@@KwaziiNZ_ There was no New Zealand before the English built it, so yes, English was the first language. Many different Polynesian groups have lived on these islands before NZ was established, with newer waves slaughtering to original inhabitants. Which of these many cultures do you feel connected to, and why? Most NZers have no connection to pacific islander culture.
