We have made multiple trips to NZ from the UK and have been riding on the various heritage full sized railways. The only "smaller" gauge railway that we have ridden is the Driving Creek Railway just outside Coromandel. The only model railway we've witnessed in action is the one at Picton, we were unaware of the number of miniature steam railways around NZ, We are planning our next trip for as soon as the current COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we were hoping for January and February 2021 however it looks as though it will have to wait until 2022. We always come "down" in January and February as we always attend the Auckland Folk Festival at the end of January. This series of video's has given us some more new activities to add to out schedule. Thanks Very Much.
