Honorable result for New Zealand although they should have scored at least one goal I think. Japan is top competition. Jun Endo was on fire - MVP hands down. And on another topic: great retransmission for this game ! Good close ups and the dolly camera accompanying the play - ought to have this more for the women's games. Often there is just the fixed pivoting camera, moving too fast and with poor framing.

Woeful pressure on the ball. Japan so much time to play, pick passes etc. Too many players have been there too long with the ferns. If you haven’t done anything for 10 years unlikely you’re suddenly going to do it now. Changes have to be made and not just due to injury/illness. 2-0 which could have been 10. Ferns deserve so much better in terms of coaching/support/expectation. So sad to see

I keep writing this...the backs dont know how to mark up..letting their wingers have free range for a cross..and we are back pedalling like we are trying to block the net or something..their are 11 players in each team, and you should when defending stick to your oppose number like shite to a blanket..Keeper ok, let down by backs..
