Thanks to NewAir for sending me their AF-520B Misting Fan- amzn.to/2ryywoP to recreate the feeling of having frozen Margaritas in the heat of summer sitting out on the restaurant patio under the wonderful misting fans. I didn't know you could get a home version of those big misting fans and will definitely get the family to spend some more time outdoors this summer.

They have had fan misting Kits that connects to any outdoor fan out for years and are as low as $20.00 !! Great review

Do you have to have a hose to connect for misting? Thinking about getting it for our patio and Newfie dog to cool down!

I know this is old but yes, it will require a water hose holed up to an external faucet outside. The fan comes with a connector to connect it to a water hose

how did you turn the water down ? I have that fan but my hair gets wet when I sit near it. Did you turn down your spigot at the house or not slide the lever on the fans hose attachment all the way to "on" ?

These missing fans have been around for years, especially here in Tucson, AZ. Older homes here have evaporative coolers instead of A/C units because they don't require compressors and use less electricity. Only downside is that don't work well during monsoon season when it's already humid outside.
