I love my Fettec gear got rid of all my betaflight shit during Covid and went ham for the German shit haha fr tho it’s a great interface and the electronics are fuckin strong it’s like the apple iPhone of the drone world have to buy their shit to run their operating system but it’s far superior compared to beta flight imho

Looking forward to seeing your build review using these products. RCinPower rocks, I'm sure these motors will be good. I'm more interested in the fc, I flew Fettec when it first came out. Moved on to Kiss Ultra since then. There's no plans for a aio Ultra fc. So this may be a viable option. Happy flying everyone. 😎

You could get away with flat/pancake style frame (low standoffs), although the new speedybee mario seems like an interesting option. Watch out with the AOS motors as they can draw quite a lot of amps on 6s (read somewhere...)

I built a quad with the previous BF version of that AIO. It's an engineering marvel, but its Achilles heel is that proprietary wiring harness required to maintain the fully enclosed aluminum heat sink case. The wires are like the diameter of a human hair.

Pretty neat that the board is water proof. Never had experience with fettec so definitely looking forward to the build. I thought maybe the flyfish tony 5in would be a good frame for this but unfortunately it doesnt fit 30x30 boards. Quadmula sirenF5 might be another great option, really like their frames!

interesting, looking forward to the build. According to RCinpower spec sheet, those motors max out at 60A (!!!) at full throttle with 6s + gemfan 51466 props. That would be quite a bit above the burst rating of that AIO. will you limit them down somehow for safety, or just not go full throttle, or use way lower pitch props?

I was under the impression that the motors would draw only what the ESC could provide? So I think it should be fine

generally ESCs are rated to a current value, but dont have active limitation. This is why when you over-strain motor or esc, components can overheat and burn. It is definitely possible that the motors would draw more current from ESC then the fets could handle. The rating is just an estimate by the component manufacturer@@arthurgiourdjian9071

That's a bench test rating so the actually current draw will be less in the air and those ESCs can burst to 55A. I bet they won't get burned.

Those motors can pull 51 amps at max you are not worried about blowing that esc?

With those motors, 5X4X3 props I pulled 295 amps at full throttle according to the log.

Looks a great AIO well built, but the wiring looks like it will be a pain to use. Fettec's Alpha firmware is a completely new firmware from the ground up, not based on Kiss or Betaflight.

He hasn't done any videos on FETTEC so we'll see where this goes. I don't think there is a lot of content on FETTEC on RU-vid compared to Betaflight.

Side mount for the battery cable could be annoying. But, it also can move the CG closer to center. I bet their will a number of improper installs with the motor pads on the top and bottom.

Maybe that's the correct way to do things versus the cable on the inside. Means the battery cable can be a lot shorter. That's not a bad thing.

Just bundle up the wires you don't use and the rest of the wiring is the same as if you were soldering it. It just looks kinda messy but can be easily cleaned up. Not a big deal.

I have mixed feelings about this board. I like how its compact and has that one strip to connect everything and making it perfect for a light build. Strange layout and not a big fan of the battery cable coming out on the side tho.

@@xavierprimeto1752not my cup of tea and could potentially cut it with a prop during crash. Center gravity is not that big of a benefit so it’s the least of my concerns. To each their own tho. Just my own personal preference and view.
