Just finished the frame following your video. Excellent step by step build which has a few new twisst on construction I had not seen before. I have some new AOS motors and an F7 flight controller with ELRS receiver to go on board. Avatar V2 VTX with the Pro camera.Thanks again!@@DanZbreaksDrones

ESC/FC are pretty interchangeable from rig to rig. I’m not particularly precious about it. I run BF 4.3 and blheli 32 ESC’s that are north of 50amp rated(Foxeer reaper, Tmotor Pacer, or Mamba). My go to motors are the xing2 2207 @ 1950kv. For more “budget” motors. The Tmotor Velox v2’s have been working pretty well for me. Other than that. It’s a culmination of years of trying to not suck as much as I do.

For my builds currently I'm using the following: *VSPro Frame *Gemfan Sbang Props *Diatone Mamba F722 Stack w/50A BL32 ESC or *Aikon F7 V2 FC w/Tmotor 50A BL32 ESC (So far I feel like stacks are pretty interchangeable as long as they're quality) *ELRS Receiver protocol *DJI O3 *Motors I'm in flux on. Historically it's been the Xing2's on 1950KV. But lately I have a build with the Slatts from TMotor and that is my favorite flying proxy quad.

Thanks so much for the feed back. I was having trouble with the ELRS and the SB F405 fc with BLS esc. I was thinking that this stack is not very compatible with the ELRS Boxer. I think I should pick up a more up to date F7 BL32 stack. Any thoughts? @@DanZbreaksDrones

@@FPZzzz I feel like you should be able to use it just fine on that stack. I will say the ELRS does not have a super friendly/easy user experience. You have to be certain that your settings are correct. I also did have an F7 FC that would not work proper on the recommended UART. When I changed the UART everything started working again. My recommendation is to go over everything again. Make sure everything is working as it should.

I got it working on uart2 which is the only uart it will work on but the tune is so bad. Motors make grinding sounds. I moved the master slider in BF pids. I quited them down but now it flys so bad. This same stack and build flew no problem with the DJI2 controller and link but I wanted the Boxer up grade. Night and day difference with the boxer. Hoping to find a good match. @@DanZbreaksDrones

Sounds like you have a hobby that is an eternal flaming money pit. I’ve got one of those too.

Depends on a few different factors. If you’re flying a session or action 2. I’d recommend something like the Gemfan Sbang or Gemfan 4937’s. If you’re on a Full-size GoPro or Mini I’d recommend something like the Gemfan Freestyle4S.
