This past weekend, I had to go out to the shop of a siren company me and some friends are starting up to work on getting a couple of units ready to go (Both are Thunderbolts if you're wondering) and since it was a saturday, I decided to record a siren test here at the shop which normally consists of a Whelen 4004 doing a 10 second blast which you can see in the background, but to make things extra interesting we decided to run the same 4/5 I recorded with my phone previously. I apologize for the completely unprofessional half assedness of this recording but I wasn't exactly planning on filming it hence why I zoomed my shot out when I realized the 'bolt was a bit out of frame. Either way though this thing kicked ass especially on level 3. Felt like the earth was splitting apart below my feet honestly. I cannot tell you exactly where these sirens are located, however I will say they're about 20 minutes from Newberry. The siren (or sirens) here are tested every Saturday at noon because unlike the county, we don't give a fuck about karens complaining about the siren tests.
For your viewing pleasure, here is a map of all the sirens in South Carolina (made by Siren Explorations):
