Oh my goodness you are the cutest family ever!!! Thank you for sharing these wonderful tips :) especially from maiko ;) I’m going to need that ergo pillow as I’m expecting soon!
To help save money with the Diaper Genie, I only use it for poops and not pee diapers. Pee diapers don't have a noticeable smell so I just throw my kids pee diapers in the normal trash and save the poop filled ones for the Diaper Genie. Cut my usage of refills by 2/3rds. :)
So much respect for your promotion of breastfeeding in Japan & your education on how public breast feeding in Japan is seen & works ! ❤ It matters ! #Respect
You can buy mats that the baby sleeps on (under their sheets) that are better at alarming if the baby stops breathing etc. They are completely flat and they definitely work, the one i know of that defs is angelcare or something like that.
We absolutely LOVE the Haenim uv sterilizer. It's not steam based so you don't need to fumble around with filling water, waiting for the bottle to cool down. All you do is pop the bottle, or baby toys in (especially teething toys) and the machine will heat dry the water on the bottles from washing it, then it will UV sterilize it. We didn't know about it at first, but got it gift and have been recommending it to everyone we know ever since. You can also use it to sterilize other household items so it's super good value!
I used to breastfed my baby and pooping has been an issue, but the pediatrician told me that breastfed is absorb differently by the body so they don’t really poof daily. Because breast milk is not like a regular food that we fed our babies, babies get to absorb all the nutrients from it. Unless they have more formula milk or solid foods already.
Cool video :) ur son is cute :) When are you going to continue with the Day in the Life :) Those videos are cool. I was wondering how the life for exchange students, teachers, nurse are etc :) and if you want to live in japan what do you have to do? What are conditions and procedure?
Why so serious? your wife laughs multiple times saying funny stuff and your face was kinda mad 7:32 or 3:05 that was painful to watch 😂 Edit: OKAY he laughs that was so satisfying 😂
I had a baby in northern Japan in the '80s, so I am so envious of your modern baby products. I used a little baby bath in our kitchen sink. My son was born in late December and it was so cold by the kitchen windows that the steam rising from the bath looked like I was boiling my baby (!) Your little Wolfie is adorable and you both are wonderful parents. love this channel.
You're still gonna panic when you do have a child, lol. I suppose in some ways, whenever the firstborn is born, both the parents run around clueless worried out of their minds.
Yeah, the 3-wheel Aprica stroller worked well for me too. And I used basically the same 3 baby carriers! (All served their purpose well.) The other tech I couldn’t afford, at the time. 😆 My babies are in elementary school now, but man, your videos bring back the memories, Paolo. Hard times, but magic. I’m pretty sure I said it before, but I’m so impressed that you two manage to still produce quality videos while raising a baby - especially your first! 🍻
With baby baths, a lot of American ones are just hard plastic that you can fit in the tub not really with the net part, the blown up one you have looks more comfortable
In my country there’s a big thing about not having your baby in a ‘maxicosi’ like the aprica stroller thing for more than an hour a day, as supposedly it’s very bad for the back. Does anyone know what’s up with that? It seems people from outside of Europe disregard this completely.
Same here! I needed to scroll waaaaay far down. But indeed. There have also been warnings about letting your baby sleep in those things. Because of the position and the heavyness of ther head, they can suffocate when sleeping in that.
I think Daddy is a little too worried :) relax I know it’s your first born but he’s not gonna stop breathing in the middle of no where. I promise you. Babies are resilient and strong! We’ve had 4 already and I was super paranoid about my first... if you don’t get the formula right they will let you know! They’ll let you know and cry a lot. So just give them more food! They’ll know what it is! That baby bath tub is a game changer though for sure! I’m expecting soon and we need one of those for sure!! It’s been a nightmare washing my kids in the regular adult baths filled only part of the way with my husband holding up our children making sure then don’t slip away while I soap them up ... thank you!!
Hello guys ..!! I live in Tochigi japan and I am deu next year April, so I was hoping if you guys could donate some of Wolfy’s things you won’t be using next year to me ..!! I really will appreciate you guys as I am struggling financially.!!
Did he just ask for 1080p or 4k baby monitor? What in the world are we talking about? We arent making a movie here. You are taking "A day in the life" ideas a little too serious.
@Tokyo Zebra You shouldn't keep the baby more than 2 hours on infant seat. It's bad for his spine. The position on the seat is safer on the crush, but worse for the spine. That's why you should use typical flat carrycot on the stroller.
Great products😊. If the diaper genie has a little odor at times, you could stick a great smelling deodorizer on the inside of the cover, would work great
First time mom here, I totally get the worries of being a first time parent. You guys are doing great, thanks for the recommendation on baby stuff. I follow safeintheseat on Instagram, it’s all about car seat safety for babies, it’s super helpful and it has given me a lot of peace of mind. Just wanted to point out that resource to you as you think about car seats as your baby grows. Wishing you three lots of health and happiness.
Are you okay with the fact that the baby is surrounded with so many devices all the time? Isn’t it harmful for him due to the electronic and radio waves?
Love the video ! What is the next chapter (2021) going to focus on for Wolfy ? I know you guys are ready to see your parents, let us know how that is coming along! Dealing with the same with visiting the in-laws during COVID and traveling . Love the channels !
Wolfie looks so cute, I love these videos about him! I've been following the past couple of months since we just had a baby, so the way these video were released it's been like Wolfie was growing up at the same time as my girl and I could see the same stages. SO helpful!Btw another HELLO from a Serbian! :) Our baby is almost 3 months old now so these were our must haves in Japan: - Baby gas relief simethicone drops, they are super important for us, we order them through iHerb because we couldn't find anything similar in Japan. - Aquaphor, also from iHerb. Our baby had a reaction to the Pigeon peach cream. Aquaphor helped with any redness and the baby pimples as well to an extent. - Mama and Kids baby lotion. Sooo nice, but expensive. I had a bunch of samples and small tubes of other lotions and those just can't compare. I might switch when her skin is less sensitive tho. - Muslin blankets for swaddling when she was really small. I loved how soft the Uniqlo muslins were, but the Aden & Anais were easier to swaddle with, not so slippery. I was surprised by that people in Japan don't swaddle babies. The nurse at the hospital and my Japanese friend when she visited were both astonished when they saw my little burrito, but they did admit she slept really well when swaddled. - VAVA nursing light. The battery lasts forever, the light is very gentle and it stays cold,. It's made out of safe materials so it's safe to keep even in the baby's bed. We sleep on the floor on futon beds, same for the baby so it was sooo nice to have this little portable light. - The ErgoBaby carrier is an absolute must. We had the K'tan and like the Kony it's nice when they are small, but in the end the ErgoBaby gets used more often and now she prefers it. Bonus points for a black one, if you baby has a blowout at ... for example Starbucks (not that this happened to me, just saying :))
Rewatching all these baby videos because I’m getting another sibling and I wanna see how to make my moms life easier! She has narcolepsy and I wanna find products to make childcare easier apart from support from the rest of the family.
What about baby hygienic product?? Which brand is used in japan??? Like in INDIA we used himalaya, Johnson baby, mom co etc And so many essential things which baby need daily except mom milk.... Food Hygiene products Etc... Plz make a video....
Thanks for great video. It is interesting to compare things for children in diferent countries. I have back saving advice for breast feeding. Step one - find good place (sofa, chair, bed, place near wall). Step two - sit down and rest your back agains maulstick (straight but comfortably). Step tree - prepare one, two or zero pillows (according your babys age). Put pillow on your lap and hold it by your legs. Step four - put your arm around baby for safety and help him stay in right position. Its lips would be in some height like your nipples. Now your back is resting and your baby can feed as long as needs.
