I love how nobody on the pitch blames dubravka when he slipped it happens …. I know not a good time to happen but it happens some players slip on pens …. Nevertheless he made a crucial save
I do. Said it for weeks and months. No one has noticed or will admit to it because they fixated on tino and burn. They don’t notice actual stats. Martin has the 2nd highest worse stats leading to chances or goals! See premier league site for details. That’s 4 goals he’s responsible for now and two pens as well. Almost 3 against forest. Notice the trend… no one sees it. They sweet in him. He’s nice bloke but half the reason we like this is cos we lost pope ! Since then we’ve been woeful with leaking goals and chances. Our defenders aren’t confident watch how they pass it round. They never use to pas it back that much. They had self esteem not they struggle and keep looking at martins postioning !
The ball should not have been played back to him in the first place, I don't blame him for slipping, several players slipped at the game. Dubravka is a really good keeper, period. Pope is probably a bit better shot stopper but that's is, his footwork is absolutely horrifying.
Dubravka's unlucky slip cost us but then some outstanding saves kept us in the game, but we still lack that magic along the way but 1 point is better than 0 points
It sounds like you watched an exciting match! A draw in football, especially with a score like 2-2, often means both teams showed great effort and resilience. It's impressive when teams manage to level the score, showing real determination. No matter which team you were supporting, it's always great to see such a competitive spirit and skill on display. Football really brings out some amazing moments, doesn't it? 🙂👏⚽
I love Burn, but hes clearly struggling against pacey players. Its painful to see him being exposed time and again and making him look bad. Its time for Howe to start with Livramento
@@dennisnielsen4289he’s equally good in each position. He is suited to a back 3 as he was at Brighton. He’ll be exposed no matter where he is on the pitch. There are pros and cons for all players suited for the lb position.
So happy for Ritchie after being shunned for so long. Wanted to leave but forced to stay just to sit on the bench. I could feel his emotion when he scored
Gutted and annoyed by today, but one last Ritchie goal was one of my big wishes from this current Newcastle side and it didn't disappoint. What a hero he's been for us.
Nobody is hating on BDB, it isn’t his fault he wasn’t blessed with speed and is up against most teams quickest players. People have just figured out to attack that side, who would you rather attack, trips or BDB? Tino needs a look in for the next few games, no disrespect to BdB at all.
@@TonyEgg93 I know that, but again, it’s not his fault that he can’t catch up with all these quick players. I love Eddie howe as much as any toon fan and I’m no manager, he’s made the wrong choice putting Dan burn on vs Luton and now Bournemouth. Semeyo ruined us last time we played them aswell
@@TheAmoscokkiethe board were ready for the drop in form his season.he board are definitely not gonna get rid of Howe. Why would they sack Howe .he's managing absolutely brilliant.
Start of the season. Just finished 4th. Champions league incoming. Club and fans as high and excited as we've been for twenty years... ...fast forward to now. Scraping a draw at home to Bournemouth with a last minute matt Ritchie goal. It's a funny old world.
@@CJ-ih4oh You sound quite angry...We didn't manage to beat them at home no but think we got a result at their ground, Should be a good game tomorrow, I actually like Newcastle....good side
Anyone giving Burn stick is wrong, Eddie picks the team and Burn is getting torched, every team countering with 2 quick players against him, and we don't have the midfield we had last season. Why does this persist. Love Eddie but this is Southgate-esque, if he can't adapt I don't know what to say, this has cost us way too many points.
Just starting to show his limitations as a manager, as much as I appreciate everything he has done for the club and players until now. Seems to lack the will to adapt, in order to improve.
Howe needs to be held accountable, when you see the strategy isn't working out you cant keep repeating the same mistakes. Disappointing draw at home again
Another game we are lucky they can't score all there chances. They should have been 3 nil up. Arsenal won't have any trouble scoring. That could be ugly.
Howe being stubborn with starting Burn every game is worrying. We cant be celebrating a draw at home to Bournemouth. We are 8th in the league and miles away from the top teams. Things need to be changed
Our last 5 at st james have been terrible 2 draws 2 losses and 1 win comparing this with the 8 matches before 7 wins and 1 loss if our home form is this bad how are we supposed to go away to Arsenal, Chelsea,Man utd, palace or Fulham because our away form is certainly horrid as well in our last 5 away games 3 losses and 2 wins is terrible as well Im suprised we arent in relegation in this form
This should be a wake-up call for Eddie Howe. Keep making the same mistakes and one day we will get absolutely smashed. I am not looking forward to Arsenal's game.
Eddie Howe never learns he keeps starting Dan Burn. The man is out of form drop him now! Top 6 hopes are pretty much over now. Fighting for 7th/8th. Don’t expect us to win the FA Cup so it’s a pretty underwhelming season compared to the last one. With Dan Ashworth leaving aswell it’s not looking so good right now tbh. The guys at the top are going to need to sort it out as soon as possible otherwise next season we could lose some big players and we’ll just be an average team again.
It's just Eddie being stubborn Eddie. I'm really starting to see his limitations as a manager, although I appreciate everything he has done for these last two years.
Well done shame we couldn't have all 3 points but a draw is reasonably good enough against a good Bournemouth team. Ritchie saving the point, Outstanding professional.
Just Remember Unbelievable Save From Martin Dubravka + Goal From Anthony Gordon & Matt Ritchie. Newcastle United Shared The Points Against AFC Bournemouth In The St'James Park Score By 2-2.
You didn't want a team that wins you wanted one that can at least compete!! Well you got 3/4 of a team the rest is on the injury list so cut the moaning and have patience in the project...deary me
big Dan needs to rest hope Eddie play Tino at left back next game his performance has dropped big time we concede so many goals from the left side of defence..
Burn is living off of past performances. It’s time to get serious and look at starting someone else over him until he gets it figured out. He’s become a liability more than an asset since Christmas.
I really don’t know what players have with thier former club , always scoring to prove they made a mistake , I will start betting on that now cause I don’t know how mancity and Newcastle didn’t win comfortably yesterday
Good for Ritchie. Deserves a goal for all the years of service. Gordon kept the penalty streak alive. Good man! As for the rest of them not much positive to say. Our defenders are hilarious. They go missing at their main job and get in the way of our attackers in the opposition box. Longstaff anonymous. Miggy absolutely poor decision making negating his positive play. Just roll him in man. Jacob Murphy, no conviction, and poor coordination. Barnes more hype than substance. Tripps had a quite game but with no centre forward in the box it is to be expected. The manager deserves a 0 out of 10. Absolute coward. Drop BDB, he is getting targeted every week to the point the man no longer knows to drop back or engage the attacker. His confidence is gone, it is plain to see for everyone. Mounting injuries yet again but it is expected when the manager refuses to adapt. Bin the season already.
Popes injury has been the most crucial this season. Dubravka will continue to cost us points as he's just not good enough. Think we will get whipped next weekend by arsenal but i hope we have enough to finnish 7th which when you consider everything this season would be pretty amazing. Hoping for a cup miracle too.
He hasn't been class. Far from it. Look at the state of him last week for the 1st forest goal and yesterday for the second goal. Wont even mention the first. Truth is yes he's made some good saves ( he's geting paid to do that btw) because he's busier than pope would normally be. But the defense has no confidence in him and he doesn't give them any confidence at all. Chances are if you hit a good shot on target it goes in. Just look at the stats since he has been in goal.. he has cost us points and he will continue to do so because he's a poor keeper all around. Hes an ok shot stopper but everything else hes very average.
It's not Dubravka's fault yesterday, the defender should not have played it back to him during that high pressure from Bournemouth to begin with, wth was he thinking? Dubravka slipping was just unlucky. He saved our asses several times yesterday. Burn getting caught out again, like last three games, this is getting too obvious. Burn must have some dirt on Eddie. When you have such a Talent in Tino who makes Burn look like a Sunday league Defender, you have to be able to see what's best for the team, instead of using burn as the culprit, he knows he is shit at lb, but won't admit.
@@dennisnielsen4289 ah man I'm not just talking about yesterday. And your talking about something completely different to my original point which was popes injury has been our most critical. I'm sorry but you cant deny that. Look back since pope got injured not just yesterday. I agree with you about burn, he shouldn't be playing but i wasn't talking about that
If it wasn't for Dubs we'd have lost 4-2 or something. There's bigger problems at the moment that Dubravka, can't blame him for the 1st goal. Miggy is absolutely awful, and Burn needs to be benched for Tino
I am sick of the criticism Dubravka and Burn have received. Both great players for the club. Dubravka made a mistake. Shit happens. Burn was one of our best players last season and many of those who are calling for him to be axed wanted him a call up for England 12 months ago. The team has been rocked with injuries all season and Tonali being suspended isn’t what we envisaged. We don’t have a defensive midfielder or sweeper to contain any possession in front of the back of four. We will bounce back next season with a full squad. Get behind this team and divent be a fair weather fan.
Eddie picks the team, Eddie plays Burn out of position, I blame him, not burn, just doing what he is told. Burn is a liability at Lb, good as cb. Eddie is the one to blame.
Awful display. Ritchie “saving” Newcastle is a bit embarrassing. Will they now give him another 8year contract? Hope Tino hands in his transfer request.
These "Highlights" are edited to blatantly show NUFC in the best possible light. So biased. Don't know who the second commentator is but he's clueless.
