Tino's direct play was a huge factor in Miley's goal there. I love how he (Tino) has settled into the team to the point where you forget he's still a bairn and that it feels like he has played there for years already.
What a day for Lewis Miley. Superstar from Stanley. Just a stone throw away from where I live. That’s been coming for a while, much deserved considering his performances lately!
I just love this team, to a man. Top performances from Bruno, Tino and Krafth (we always forget him and he always does us proud when called on), but Lewis Miley... What a player, we have a serious talent on our hands.
Just before Lewis Miley scored, my dad told me that Lewis would get his first Prem goal today. He said he could sense it. Not even a minute later, the ball was in the net. Hell of a coincidence. Congratulations Lewis!
Honestly the lad looks so young but his feet and technical ability makes him look like he's been striding in his prime. We've got a superstar on our hands. Fantastic lad 😁
I know it was because of Trippier’s absence, but I’d really like to see this style of play from us more Bruno dictating and pulling strings from midfield, more quick passing and one touch movement Play one way the first half and the other way the next will give our opponents a lot more to think about Excellent result for the effort, up the Toon!
Used to dream of that meself as a 4 year old onwards of wearing the ASICS kit and scoring at the same end night after night. Be under no illusions he's got watched this very video a few times.
I have been a Newcastle football fan for 30 years. And I'm always happy when Newcastle beats their opponents. The Newcastle team will always be number one in my heart.❤
A couple of huge positives to be drawn from our injury crisis are the performances of Miley & Tino. They both look so composed & comfortable for their young years. I hope we can bring on Lewis Hall too as I think those 3 will be huge players for club & country over the next decade or so. Gordon & Barnes still have their best years ahead of them too. The future's bright...
Would love to see this club challenging for the title, amazing what Eddie Howe has done, in such a short space of time. A joy too watch, even for a neutral. Proper stadium atmosphere. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
2nd half, Miggy, Krafth and Miley triangle worked really well. So good to see Krafth playing well again after a long absence. He has improved a lot under Eddie. Gordon needs to stop blazing over the bar with wild shots outside the box. Big Dan Burn was talking about recently how he has improved on headers and I think he is doing much better than last season. Long may it continue.
@@GryphLanewell yes, but to say that he needs to stop shooting in general is what i disagree with, shot selection should be better but we've also gotta let the lad shoot
Taking nothing away from Miley as he has been a revelation lately but Bruno stood out to me in that game. Some of the passes and touches he was making were absolute top class and he controlled the middle of the park all game. What a player he is and what a player Miley is turning in to. As the injured players start coming back into the team and the schedule is a bit lighter now we are going to be a real threat. Not to mention when some of the loan players come back and work their way into the team, then possible signings added to strengthen the squad even more. Future is looking very promising from my perspective. To say we've weathered possibly the toughest start to a season ever and still in 6th I'm not worried or complaining about anything. Long Live King Eddie.
Miley at 17 learning from Tonali, Bruno, J7 can only be huge for his development. Its already evident in his game now that he is picking up some of their traits...the long legs pinching the ball and quick distribution is a clear mix of Bruno and J7 and with Tonali out injured I can see Eddie giving him a mentor role for Miley....The kid reminds me of a young Toni Kroos
Buzzing for miley on his 1st of many. That’s the best I’ve seen Bruno play in quite a while he really looked on his game. Great link up play. Good to see big Sven back aswell. Joelinton was immense until his injury let’s hope it’s not too serious HWTL
Thats what we call looking for 3points those last two shows a team determined to win no matter how they score not other teams who want spectacular goals.this is lesson to them 😉
There was a little dribble from Miley along the edge of the penalty area where he got a good shot in. Was kind of hoping that would be in the highlights because I only have saw it at the time.
Why is is Longstaff who gets hammered by someone. I think Eddie saw where he could get in, but my goodness, why does he get completely smashed these last couple years. He's been tough
Ikr. Eddie says he's a perfect shot on training and has good fitness. But He gets bullied a lot now. He is also quite unlucky attracting all the red carders kai havertz and now this guy 😂
Krafth - would you gove him a contract extension for next season? I think if he makes it through this season without another major injury then he is the kind of squad player we desperately need.
I am always find it interesting in players who have won the European Championship but never the PL say they wish they had won the PL. As a neutral I would love to see Newcastle win the Premier League.
The crazy thing with Miley is, hes 17 and he will get much stronger and athletic by time hes 21. See how much Gordon has improved in the past year for example, not close to muscle maturity or bone density yet.
Livramento looked a lot more composed and reliable than tripper. Tripper is a great player no doubt but his form couldn't be any worse. Class is permanent, form is temporary, livramento must keep his place for the next few games at least.
i’d like to think that i’m the reason for var giving that challenge as a red, i sit right above them (literally i do) and was screaming for it being attempted murder (cause it was, bro was lucky to be alive by now)
i swear it makes me think twice about what the fk is going on in this world, im a middle eastern and whenever i look at Newcastle fans i just feel attached ! i feel like every person chanting in the stadium is close to me !! its crazy how football can unite people, i love each and every single one of you fans, to the top 🖤🤍
