If pope is fit he has to start. We have different opinions on dubravka, he is awful at sweeping, coming for crosses. Pope’s presence is massive for us on corners, crosses, set pieces etc. Dubravka looks timid.
@@Steph-wq9it All depends on how he’s looking in training i guess. Goalkeepers dont have the luxury of getting phased back into the team via sub appearances like an outfield player. You’re just back in when you’re ready, if he’s ready he has to start for me, he’s a far better goalkeeper.
@@kyled96 I wouldn’t risk unsettling the team at this late stage in the season. But you have some good points. We can ease Pope back in the team during summer games. Probably best to wait.
@@paulyoung5514 Eddy didn’t expand on that, maybe he doesn’t want to give to much away to the opposition. To keep them guessing wether they play or not. Tactical 🤔 But there’s plenty nasty viruses out there that will effect a players ability to play at the top level.
