the clubs have put so many restrictions on stopping newcastle they forgot it would also apply to them, the premier league needs to change the restrictions on the 30 million loses as it was set so long ago
@@Iamrealhonest EXACTLY!!! Funny how Man City aren't named in this list!! Get to win the premier league under false pretences, when Everton and Forest take point deductions and just avoid relegation! The whole thing is a JOKE, especially when You add in the FACT of SOOOO many Disgraceful VAR decisions this season! Premier League should be ashamed of themselves! CORRUPTION AT IT'S FINEST!
Incredible how, outside of Chelsea and Villa, these teams are all outside of the top 6. 1 was newly promoted and another barely escaped relegation. Yet, they're forced to sell players to make it fair? How the hell is that fair? Day after day this "system" is proving only to make it much much more difficult for the lower placed teams to have a shot at moving up. It's completely ridiculous. Also if you're looking at it from a Primer League standpoint, Villa are in the CL next season. What's best for the league? To have them sell off and crash out in the group stages? NO, obviously not. What an absolutely terrible system
If I was Newcastle I’d buy more players now and take the 4-12 point deduction and fine, cause if likely to breach it then might as well take the hit. Even with 12 point deduction I’d expect us to to hit 6,7,8 in the league
I think you'll find all transfers have to be sanctioned by the Prem, rather than extra punishments for breaking the rules I think they could just block any incoming transfer's, the issue might be that every club will now know that you need to sell by June 30th so expect some really low ball offers coming in.
So what, they can pressure us as much as they want but nobody can force us to sell and if we only need to sell to atisfy Sky Sports then we can ignore this completely. Unless it comes from the club it doesn’t mean anything
This I agree with. Though, I'd like to keep Trippier and I have a sift spot for Miggy. But at the end of the day this list makes the most sense for outgoing players.
Would take a few point deduction before being forced into selling any major players, easier to just get a Saudi club to buy Almiron before the cutoff date. Quite frankly while I agree witht he14 club vote threshold I do thing City are right in that the AP sponsorship regulations are excessive
Sky sports give no quotes as to authenticity of this story. So, it could be just guess work from a sports journalist based on club spend. Until Newcastle produce a new set of accounts nobody knows how much extra income Newcastle generated up until end of June, so without knowing the Income you can not predict the net loss
Ye I call this another bs sky sports story Isak already said in a interview that he wants to stay and also said the owners have not told him they need to sell him
With the wealth of man city and newcastle owner , we can start our own english super league and invite team that are willing to spend from the premier league and lower divison to join . Same rule as the premier but with much more attractive payout and work with euro super league .
The Premier League has lost the plot. Shutting the stable door after the horse as long gone. Teams have spent without restrictions in the past, now the the prem are determined to protecting the old school. This is taking the Prem down the toilet, it will become mediocre where teams will become also rans.
Adam it's dose not make sense regarding we have to sell now because our end of season accounts don't have to be in until the end of this month, so how does the premier know.
I'd be all for selling the naming rights for the Stadium, it would still be ST Jame's Park, Man City trousered (cough cough) £400 million for theirs ...
Don't forget they have to sanction virtually everything a club does, transfer's, new contracts, sponserships etc. etc, so they have a very good idea over year on year accounts pretty much what the clubs income and outgoings is going to be, as all accounts end, June 30th I believe, except for any outgoings before that date it's unlikely there is much income to many clubs, perhaps that's why they had to go to Australia straight after season end, bit of capital to balance the accounts.
Hi Adamjust a quick point the new Kit from Addidas costing £80 and you mention DHgate, which I would not have mentioned a copy firm just saying cheers for the update
I'm fine with it. So long as the rules are applied to every team evenly. The premiership is too much of a fix i.e. top 6 protected, too hard for newly promoted teams to stay up. Something has got to be done to tame player prices. Ultimately it will be good for fans.
The good thing with Chelsea is they will be desperate to sell players because they are way over their FFP, if anyone wants any of their players just hold out till as close as you can for the fee and you could probably negotiate a good deal.
We have to sell, but it doesn't say how much money we need to raise, it could only be 10-20m. £80 for a shirt is a piss take, this is the problem with exclusivity deals!!! When you have kids Adam you will understand, kids will want the new shirts and you don't want them to feel left out when all their friends have the new kit!
JD exclusivity doesnt really matter, adidas shirts are only slightly more expensive than castore, for better quality. if price is issue buy a good fake or check vinted and ebay in a bit
Let's just get these 2 or 3 elite players we need I'm sure we could still get the conference with 10 or 12 point deduction,we'll be back in top 4 the following season & beyond
Personally I just don’t see how not just us but the whole dam league can carry on like this because I really do feel right now the more you push to be successful the more the pl are going to punish you really is putting me off football all together but something drastic needs to change
Should be selling our director of football but manure allowed to screw other teams through underhanded approaches for staff then not paying up. Prem is so corrupt how they try to hold everyone back outside the traditional top 6. New 'newcastle' rules introduced immediately or freezes places on deals is a joke. Love how everyone is saying don't que up for kit so they have a shorter wait lol. Hope everyone is happy with the new kit, can't wait to see it. Wonder if it will be available in JD sports Southampton (I'm down south) 😢😢
@@bkbaughn I left them off because they are new arrivals as are Tonali and Botman. Basically the old guard need to be considered as saleable assets ( that includes tripps)
The only team what is in a position to buy is Man City, making the likes of forest and Leicester could cost them their place in the prem coz they are gonna have to sell their top stars and forest for instance losing 2 key players could cost them their place in the prem
Chelsea wont need to sell, as they have (or in the process of) selling the training ground for 100-150 million. Thats AFTER they have sold there hotels back to THEMSELVES. Pure insanity
Truly. I’m losing interest in this PSR bollocks. My love of football is slowly but surely getting eroded. I’ve cancelled sky sports after almost 2 decades. Says it all really
Considering most our deals have been structured in installments sky are probably way off the mark just carving stories. Our owners know eyes are on them, they ain't daft
To be fair, all the CL money, sela, adidas, saudia sponsors won't come into effect until next year so we have to sell this calander year so we are within the rules for this 3 year period but next season it will start over for the next 3 year period. Don't panic folks, it's not as scandalous as it seems.
Chelsea been getting away with it for years, and now because man City want to sue the epl there putting this out to be seen as scaring the too teams, but will do nothing to them
Looks like usual Sky speculative BS to me. "Sky Sports News understands". Says it all. They don't know. And in a quiet football time this would be top news. I've looked into this, and apart from this item, I can't find anything about it. Ofc that could change soon.
for me sell Dubravka, Almiron, Targett. Longstaff will be needed for quota when we get back in Europe. Wilson is not easily replaced so it's a no for me.
All the teams in that list just take a points deduction, the EPL is eating it self alive what they going to do relegate the hole league for not following the stupid finance rule they got
Balls to it lets do a man city spend spend spend then take legal action against the premier league saying they are targetting us and the rules dont apply because because because ...
And this BS is why the super league is more likely to happen it’s stopping the lower teams rising and man city has had enough and I don’t know why Newcastle haven’t started legal action against the PL just like Man City
Challenge the Premier League as Man City are doing tie them in knots. Refuse all instructions from them infact all the top teams should chase the bastards. As for the KIT £80 for something that cost thirty bob to make is farcical, peer preasure on the parents of the kids and some adults to is far from a joke in these poverty stricken days.
In one way, the takeover is the best thing that’s happened in my life as a toon fan, for obvious reasons. In others, I’m losing my love of the game. The corruption, anti-toon bias and how blatant it is… it’s like we’ve been given an opportunity and the cartel/EPL are fighting as hard as possible to ruin it at every step. I thought sport of all things should be ruled by merit, not in-groups and politics. This isn’t the sport I grew up loving anymore, and I don’t think it will ever come back.
Football in general is becoming a joke. Protection of the top teams Anti competitive rules created by the governing bodies. Watch the Premier League fast become NOT the best league in the world
@@Leenufc Andy Carrol come to mind? He never wanted to leave but when a club accepts a bid that isn’t out of force (like release clause) a player 99% the time leaves or get frozen out
