I bought Gigapixel for $200 and it hasn't been updated for a long time now. I need to pay $130 for Photo AI again, and I really don't appreciate that. What's the point of one-time $200 purchases if they'll only stay up-to-date for less than a year from purchase date?
16K from what resolution? And could you provide videos of all 24 AI models with comparison, side by side, but in one video. It would go a long way in explaining to potential customers the true power of the software. Also add some metadata too, like the resolution before and after or the fps for the fps ai models. I recently purchased Video AI and I regret buying it. It takes soooooo much time for it to render anything, even with the most recent top hardware that exists. 11 hours for 1 minute clip render with stabilization and noise reduction? 15hours with the new MacBook Pro which I render nearly every other week my work projects with After Effects and C4D? Really? Just google the render times of video ai and you’ll see the agony…
Stabilization time relies heavily on how many passes you do. Yeah, stabilizing 1080p footage and running the default 2 passes of motion compensation, and Nyx alongside it is going to process at like 8 FPS. Chances are, you don't need all that. I would run Nyx first and regular stabilization after that. It'll render in a fraction of the total time.
Yeah, because macbook pros are terrible for this sort of thing. I can upscale a 480p video to 4k 60fps in under 3 hours using an RTX 4070. You're using a machine with no dedicated graphics card.
All I wanted was to stabilize my racing drone’s video while denoising the dark areas on 4K recorded size. Not even upscaling. The program is unusable no matter what I tried… and it seems this is a common issue for many people out there. Tried the memory tweak down to 90%, tried having both memory cards working on the render, nothing. And yes, either you believe it or not, MacBook Pros and my work Mac are used for rendering in my work, graphic design. I am not a motion designer but once every two weeks, I use those machines to render animations and promos for clients successfully. Video AI is just unusable at this state.
For phones, we need the lastest smarphone of Samsung, xiaomi, Apple or ASUS powered by the lastest hardware requeriments and advanced cooling systems to avoid overheat.
So I did not renew my topaz update because it's version 4 and you guys have still not added a resume feature the event of a power outage. I am tired of outages happening and then I lose my work because there's no resume feature. when is that going to be added because You all said you were gonna add it two years ago and it still hasn't been done?
yeah my program is now worthless less than a year after purchasing it because of some AVV2 changes made in 4.0 completely worthless now thanks for that.
