Im australian. This song.. and john farnhams youre the voice, is so iconic, and so imbedded into our culture, that you cannot call yourself an aussie, and not like either of those songs....

Hi Kevin. Great video. Pity they didn't showcase our beautiful temperate and tropical rainforest like the ancient world heritage Daintree Rainforest along the Great Barrier Reef far north Queensland. One of my favourite songs too.

There are sooo much of our Aussie landscapes and seascapes that were NOT shown in this video. There are over ten thousand beaches and all kinds of beautiful forests, from tropical to snowfields/alpine -- even prehistoric forests.

That was super! The cinematography reminded me of an IMAX film "Over the Edge". The music was as sweeping as the visuals: if Martha & the Muffins and Parachute Club had a musical baby, lol!

Love the new intro! Makes me want to kiss a cod, lol! Wow, Australia really is the great southern land. The scenery is simply breathtaking, and I was actually getting a little teary-eyed with the song. This beat Tash & Ajoobe taking us on a road trip.............to Costco! The songs- the Seekers -I am Australian, Quantas ad of Peter Allen's song- I still call Australia Home. For film experiences of our High Country, please watch The Man from Snowy River. And please don't leave out Crocodile Dundee for far north Queensland. Western Australia is often ignored but the wildflowers are unique, Perth is called "the pretty city", down south has beautiful forests and beaches, pink Lakes, up north Ningaloo Reef easily outdoes the Great Barrier Reef for varieties of fish, turtles and coral, and the Karajini gorges and the Bungle Bungles are amazing.

We have numerous ski resorts of all sizes, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. For those of us lucky to have learned to ski in the 60s and 70s, many instructors were Austrians so we learned their technique. Some say we get more snow than Switzerland though not sure if that is correct. This video was a great showcase of diverse landscapes though no images of our snowfields and terrain.

Rugby League in the major winter sport in New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD). We don't really go in for that areal pin pong (AFL). Australia is the raining world champion Rugby League. If you don't know, there are 2 different forms of Rugby, Rugby League, and Rugby Union. Australia does play both, but the Rugby League is the more popular. The NRL is the top-level professional Rugby League league in Australia. There is a very good clip explaining the rules of the game by movie star and part owner of the South Sydney Rabbitos Russell Crowe introducing the game to the Americans as the was 4 game played in Los Vegas in February, March this Year.

The last city you saw with the river is Brisbane. Known as the river city because the river separates the north side and the south side. And Brisbane is also known as Bris vagas as well. You should try doing some virtual look at some of the stadiums over here. Not only AFL our cricket grounds but NRL grounds. The NRL stands for national rugby league

What a lot of these Australian videos that show off landscapes that they always seem to miss is another bio dome and that is our Alpine / Sub Alpine regions in NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tassie.

We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful country, However, as Paul Hogan said, you don’t visit someone’s house because they have nice furniture you visit because you like them. Australia’s people are our greatest asset. Get to know some of us and you will understand

The first river is full of Croc's, the water is so dark it looks black. Unfortunately, a teenage boy was eaten by a Croc but two of his mates lived. Beautiful but dangerous.

Not all state are into Aussie Rules, my state NSW is a Rugby League state along with Qld & the ACT so we aren't into Aussie Rules, dunno any players, teams, rules etc....its just whatever state ur born is what code of footy you'll be into. Cricket is our main sport along with AFL & NRL (we have a team from our siblings across the ditch, NZ in the NRL). Rugby Union & Soccer are not as popular or following, Netball is our biggest "female sport" but our Aussie women's cricket team are just literally unbeatable, the best team in world cricket by a long shot & # 1 in the world across all 3 formats, better than our men's team & they're currently ODI world champs for the 6th time (the only other team that has won more than one world cup is the West Indies with 2, so that's how dominant we're) beating India in India late last yr at the cricket world cup as well as current Test world champs also beating India in that match in England. The women are currently ODI & T/20 world champs winning the T/20 world cup in South Africa last year & our netball team are also world #1 & won the netball world cup in South Africa also last year. As i said, Rugby Union is the only shit international side we have, an embarrassment to the nation lol
