I find changing careers and jobs to be very stressful. I go through a phase of imposter syndrome, then panic, then fear. Then after I’m there and get good at my job, I start applying for other jobs to make more money and start the entire process over again. My undergrad degree is in English as well and I’ve found that it has served me well in life. Congratulations on the new career! I’m sure it will be great ❤

Oh wow, I relate so deeply to your pattern 😂😂😂. I’m trying not to spend too much time in panic, but I know I have a steep learning curve ahead. I totally agree that English as a major was highly valuable-people malign the area of study as both easy (absolutely is not) and irrelevant (not in my experience). Congratulations on your new job! It is always exciting and it is great you can take time off. I have made several major changes in my career but have been with the government for the last 8 years…and I love my job.

Thank you! It was an incredible opportunity for me to work for the government-I learned so much! I’m just now rested enough to reflect back with gratitude for the experience. I would recommend public service to anyone who feels called to explore it.

Though also, people often don’t completely use up an eyeshadow. With these, you can refill a shade or two that you use up, and the others that you only use occasionally or as accents are still there in the palette without being wasteful. PS: Your finished look is beautiful.

Surprised that neither Lisa Eldridge, Pat Magrath, Caroline Hirons never went to makeup school or as we say in UK college for beauty therapy. I trained for two years and often went on refresher courses. Training to the level I did we do nurses training on anatomy, origin and insertion of muscles and Latin names!. Did not like LE foundation but again it may work for others

Congratulations on the new job 🎉I worked as a public servant for our federal government for 30 years and worked for 7 different departments to move ahead. I was able to retire 13 years ago with a full pension. You look absolutely gorgeous, love the look. You’re lucky, I can’t wear browns, beige or nude lipsticks, it does not suit me at all.
