That SM statement regarding Renjun and the phone number also mentioned that they will do better managing their artists. The fact that Renjun saw this as the only way out to get this solved, worries me.
A health update regarding TXT Beomgyu: HYBE announced that Beomgyu fractured his left foot (found while testing ankle injury) and is advised to wear a brace until he further recovers. He will not partake in the China fansign event (June 29) but will still take part in TXT's Japanese album promotions (ACT: PROMISE IN JAPAN).
It is concerning that Renjun thought that putting out the individual's number was an option. I do not think that it was the correct course of action. (NOTE- to Renjun fans, please do not take this as me being on this other person's side.)
@@SamEricLlort and the company was out there sexualizing all the members in the mv Wouldnt be surprised they're just tryna save face at the expense of their idols feelings. Also even if she was ok with it, that doesnt mean it's ok to make those questions. Its fundamentally gross for them to think it's ok to make these types of comments on anyone
@@SamEricLlortA company speaking on someone's behalf needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Regardless, it was completely unprofessional and unprompted and un-consented sexualization or unwanted sexualized conversations towards people should never, ever be allowed nor acceptable not just towards idols but also any person on this planet. Consent is extraordinarily important, and can apply to conversation on sexual topics as well, not just physical contact.
Joy no longer has any effs to give, I hope RV wind up being the next ones to get free from SM. Speaking of which, more good news, BBC lost another appeal (against Chuu)!
Seulgi and another member already resigned with sm individually. I could see the group resigning with sm as I doubt sm would let the group be able to continue under a diff label with the same red velvet ip
@@LP-ct9nk SM wouldn't have a choice. Under SK law, it was somewhat recently decided that if all the members of a group leave their company, the group has a legal right to their name. So if all members of Red Velvet left SM, they would take the name with them. That's why, if you haven't noticed, many many companies have the arrangement now where the idols leave the company for their solo stuff but stay with the group. The company doesn't want to lose the money from the group leaving, so they're willing to compromise so they still make some money from the idol.
Just.. what are the chances of Renjun exposing wrong phone number when he would’ve been harassed by that number for some times before he decided to dox them, not to mention how anyone would have his phone number saved on their phone??? i dont understand people who defend that sasaeng
That's what I was thinking. Don't know all the details, but if it's a first time call, it's rash to reveal the number. This is why I think that her excuse is fake. But then why apologize if it's a stalker. Either way, something doesn't add up to me. But it just shows how grave and mentaly exhausting idols situation is. I personally can't understand the lengths that people go to stalk someone.
Lol you fans are delulu. The police was involved, funny enough the company didn't want to answer their calls at first too, must be company's saesang huh😂 That person called only once, apparently in Korea people tend to change their phone numbers pretty often, so it's no surprise to get calls from previous owner's acquaintances
@@Multifandomgirl1499 I don't think I've heard of company's saesangs That was just a joke: SM didn't want to answer calls because they probably thought they are from their idols' fans or saesangs but it was the police ringing
ATEEZ being the first kpop act to headline Mawazine was incredible! Over 100k in attendance for the performance! You could hear that Break the Wall chant on the moon!
It's confirmed that the person whose number got revealed is indeed a sasaeng or has sasaeng friends. Fans had to do the investigating themselves, but it's so disgusting to me that sm chose to throw their own idol under the bus to punish him.
(being sarcastic) oh how i just love renjun being forced to apologize for exposing a random person who called him, because it's definitely his fault that sm has the inability to protect their idols correctly, because why would it be sm's job to protect their idols
I'm still shocked at how kpop fans especially intl fans defended that sasaeng, Like what are the possibilities of that person having his phone number saved on their phone by mistake?? All their defence statement was coincidence upon coincidence, not enough to prove their innocence but kpop fans will never take nct side 😭
@@bahngchanznobody defended a sasaeng, they defended the person that was getting wrongfully harassed. Also I think Renjun got a lot of negative comments is because after the fact came out that they were innocent he said he refuse to apologize to that person.
The Jeewon situation is gross. I know that we can’t know as fans, but there’s always a possibility that the company said that she was fine with the episode and airing the questions asked to cover their role in it; even if she didn’t like it and told them, if they don’t want to hold themselves accountable they don’t have to since they’re in charge of whatever statements they put out. Or she might not have been able to say how she really felt about it without some backlash from execs/ppl in charge given their sexualized concept, idk. Whatever the case, it’s a sucky situation. About Renjun, the owner of the phone number that he posted also said they had the number saved on their phone and called it by accident while scrolling through their contacts looking for someone else's name, so either they are a sasaeng or somehow bought a phone that wasn’t wiped from one or something. If they were dialing a phone number and clicked the wrong button by accident I’d get it, but they said Renjun’s number was in their contact list, that’s pretty suspicious to me
I don't believe that girl who "accidentally called" Renjun. I might have believe her if she said she never called and the number that the sasaeng used was a spoofed number. But her having his number saved in her phone is just too weird. You can save a number under any name, so saying it's her friends sounds like an outright lie. This is literally what sasaengs do. They bully and stalk the object of their obsession so they can get a response and make the person talk to them even if it's a negative interaction because at least they'll be remembered by their target. I hope her pillow is never cool and that there is always a wrinkle in her sheets no matter what she does to smooth them.
Those Zico allegations are nuts since those are serious allegations people are making. I really like Cosmic by Red Velvet as soon as I heard it. I still am holding out hope for a world tour for Red Velvet but who knows at this point. Anyway I always love the positive news at the end and there has been so much music coming out and no sign of stopping soon. The H1-KEY segment was a surprise and I love the group and their new song. You are making it big KPOPJunkee and glad to see it.
The accusations about him came from DcGallery, which is infamous as a forum that instigates terrible hate trains. Kang Daniel has had a lot of bs spewed at him from that cesspool of pure hatred.
The skit with H1-KEY has definitely been the best one on your channel so far. Didn't catch the hair straightener on the first watch xD While there is truly a lot to love about their comeback, the two things I enjoyed the most are the rock-influenced music and the music video's mood. Overall, I think production quality has improved even more, which I'm incredibly happy about. And they have definitely demonstrated to the public that they aren't just "Rose Blossom - The Group", but such a versatile and charming group! H1-KEY Fighting!
Renjun did nothing wrong!!!!!! he shouldn't have to apologize for this, idols deserve to be able to defend themselves if their useless companies won't!!
That saesang that called Renjun is totally lying and got what they deserved. Maybe now that they know how it feels, they will stop paying for idols' phone numbers and being gross.
If you do that though, what problem does that solve? You've fell to their level for one. An eye for an eye worked in the old wild west but that solves nothing. Their numbers should be recorded and somehow blocked. I am certain Renjun did not expose her number thinking his dedicated fans would harass her. Just as Bang Chan did not mention a gripe he had for his fans to start a fan war with another group. When you feel under duress you are libel to not think of what all the consequences could be. You just react to the situation presented to you. Fans acted on their own to "punish" the perpetrator but what does that do? False apologies and the loss of an excellent online show. Grrr...and yes I am still upset by what happened with BC's show. What other ways can the idols retaliate for being treated less than humans??? If you have any helpful answers then please share with all of us. I would really like to know. Love and Light!! :)
"foolish actions" my guy had to step up himself because the company didn't move a single toe to help them feel safe, of course he's sick and tired of it
H1-Key Let it Burn is an AMAZING song with a completely different genre from "Rose Blossom". It shows a fantastic side to them, and stands out from the many otherwise girly concepts currently making the rounds among KPop girl groups. If you're looking for something new, H1-Key knocked this out of the park I think.
H1-key “Let it Burn” maintains the characteristic H1-key sound from their last two comebacks while adding a new edge. Such hardworking and talented girls with a flawless discography 🔥❤️
Didn’t know who H1-key was but will definitely will go check them out now! Edit: oh my god they are so good!! Let it burn is so good and I love YEL’s voice
i hope you discuss the situation with Seventeen's flight being delayed for over 2 hrs on their way back from London due to a mob of "fan's" showing up and of course it was delayed because their information kept getting leaked and eventually had to take a train to where had to go to next. 😔🤦🏾♀️😑🙄
What a coincidance- a young girl calling her "friend" instead of 50 year old man calling mcdonald's. He must have had enough of her and put her number online and all she could do is say it was an accident lol sure
On one hand, if Korean cellphone numbers are so similar in that one mistyped digit will have you calling a stranger, then yes fine it was a mistake on his part. On the other hand, if SM did their job from the beginning maybe he wouldn't be high strung enough to assume any unknown caller has ill intent. Either way you look at it, they've allowed a bad situation to become hellish, they've completely stripped Renjun of their protection because they're slow stand up for him but quick to stand up against him. They're sending a very clear message to stans. Y'all still support a company like this?...
regarding C9/Jeewon, you should give the problem a name: Tak Jae Hoon. He is always like this. It's like his whole personality is about sexualization or just degrading women. He also dared to call Nicole (Kara) an Ajumma and did so repeatedly even though she protested. This man is just disgusting.
I don't blame Renjun for doing what he did, because idols are continuesly getting calls from saesangs and it is very annoying and scary to them. He did what he did, in my opinion, because he got fed up with these saesang calls. He doesn't need to apologize. Just my opinion.
In the RENJUN issue, he had to apologize, because no saesang has ever been punished for invading idol's privacy before, and maybe this saesang is minor.
I’m sorry, but I highly doubt that person whose number he leaked was innocent. They’re probably just trying to play the innocent card so that people don’t go after them, but I have a feeling that he’s answered the phone and said please stop calling me and they didn’t stop calling him and now they’re just trying to play innocent.
