Thanks for posting a review of both! You seem to be one of the very few people who does an actual video review of any Mr. Resin products at all. I ended up buying a bundle deal they had on their website for the original and new formula resin. Despite all the trouble you were having, ya actually showed that both resins pretty much do what they're designed to rather well. Low viscosity resin is mostly for shallow detailed molds. The runny nature of it helps get into the nooks and crannies that higher viscosity resins might not fully get before they cure. But in return, they're really not that good at deep pours or for a finishing touch due to that thin, runny nature. Medium viscosity resins are the happy middle ground for most general resin work. While high viscosity is usually the sealer, doming, and finishing touch resin go to.

that makes so much more sense! I wish mr resin advertised their low viscosity for that purpose instead of just claiming it does everything their original line does, but better. I'll keep that info in mind next time I use it. thank you for sharing your knowledge on this matter. I had no idea about the purpose of the different viscosities

I love your honesty in everything. So i did try out the 24 box of opaque colors, i just love the colors you showed. I would never have got them if it wasn't for your video. I do like them so far haven't had an issue yet with my brand uv resin. But haven't tested them all yet. I went back to Amazon to find the 24 pack and its gone, like not even a pic and the black line is gone. I wonder if they pulled it due to ur review and are trying to get it right. Sorry you had to read a book. Love your channel

Mr resin (instagram) told me last year that they were having problems with amazon holding their products hostage (or something along those lines) and that they were having issues selling on amazon. So when you said you couldn't find the 24 pack of colors drops, I thought it might have just been an amazon thing. but NO. it's not on their website either 😱 actually, none of the color drops are on their website at all. Such a bummer to find out! And as for the newly formulated black line, the 250g bottles and the kit versions are still available on amazon, but when I click on the mr. resin store, it's not there? like I see the listing on amazon right here in front of me through the search results, but through their store - it's not listed. So frustrating cuz I love mr resin for their customer service and amazing original line + price point... but based on a lot of their business decisions, the company seems like a mess behind the scenes. sigh 😔 Thanks for bringing all of this to my attention and thank you so much for the support and love! ❤🥰

Thank you for the review - would have bought the original Mr. Resin if it weren't for all the changes - all in all what resin would you recommend for sealing polymer clay?

Yeah. I’m just gonna go for it and buy a new original bottle soon to compare LOL. But other than that, I’d personally recommend Handcrafter UV Resin. I’ve also heard good things about Jdiction uv resin 99% of the time ppl tell me about it.
