Hey Girl, a tip to prevent your cups from cracking is to put a spoon (metal spoon) in while pouring the hot water in. the metal of the spoon will absorb the heat from the hot water and there by there is a less chance of the cup cracking. Hope it made sense and that it helps! love your videoes!! 🤍
Hi Amanda, I cook salmon on the pan all the time. Mines end up really succulent and moist. What I do is add about 1 cup of water to the skillet pan, then place the salmon skin side down. Then I put a lid on top to keep the steam and let the salmon cook on medium heat. I usually know the salmon is done because the water has evaporated, but sometimes it needs topping up - I usually just check the salmon has cooked by seeing if it’s all a light pink colour if I flake a bit off. I suppose you can add a bit of oil at the end and let it fry to get a quick crispy salmon skin. Hope that helps!
Excellent vlog Amanda, exactly the kind of added value one would expect from those vlogs! Although it still about products placement, at least we LEARN from your lyfestyle /easy recipes demos: yummy & smart! - Not just about nails being done, facials, or shopping on Amazon...Well done - When are you planning a cooking tuition with 'baba'. Can't wait - Best wishes (PS: I wish we had a 'WholeFood Market' in Brussels. The closest one is in London, 2 hours journey with the Eurostar).
I love love this video! Please make more. I get so much inspo and motivation to cook meals for my husband! I also got the Ninja grill/air fryer because of you 🥰❤️
Staples in my kitchen include oyster sauce (I’m Asian and I guarantee you this is THE secret to excellent stir fry dishes) and also curry powder. Sometimes I buy a jar of tom yum paste (not sure if this is available near where you are) and it makes for great tom yum based dishes like soup (best thing on a cold day), fried rice or even noodles. 😊
the other day I made chicken and did not have gloves but I remembered watching your tik tok and I used the ziplock hack 😂 it worked so well so thank you for showing that waay b/c I never would have thought of it and prob not even make anything b/c touching the chicken raw w/ my bare hands grosses me out so much 😭
Another option to make salmon in the oven is ....a piece of salmon with lemon juice , cumin powder, smoked paprika, turmeric powder , garlic salt and dried dill....rub it on the salmon drizzle some oil and bake for around 20 minutes and then high broil for 5 ish minutes.... turns out sooooo good 👌
Not sure if y’all are already doing this… but in case your not…have a handful of recipes you can double while cooking and that way your eating left overs the following night… and if you do that twice a week… that’s 4 dinners for that week right there😘
18:56 This Indian food is actually Pakistani and Bangladeshi too. As these countries were once part of India. The samosas n chutney seems so delicious🤤😍😍

I paused for a moment at 11:01 cause I heard your dishwasher and mine does the same little song when it’s done. I thought, I don’t remember running mine? 🧐😅
Amanda and hubby snacking on peaches. That was funny when the peaches kept dropping because they are big! Also the meals you prepared Amanda is a nice selection xx
On 10:50 the sound of the washing machine freak me out!! I thought that it was mine but I didn't use it and hearing the sound screed me to death lol 😂😂😂😂
Lol I am dying laughing at the peaches going all over the place. You should have sliced them or cut them in fours or half at least !! BTW your food looks so 😋 delicious mashAllah
Reminded me so much if when I first got married , I did the oddest thing or actually just didn't do it lol my hubby would just go with it now five years later he would never let me hear the end of it!
Beautiful, sweet, lovely Amanda: I miss your pre-wedding spark, tweet and joy. Please don't apologize for burnt food- it still looks delicious. Anyway, not of the big deal!!! You ROCK!!! 💓
Very good video:) Selam from Germany 😊I have one question: Is it difficult to live as a muslim in the US? Maybe you could make a video about this topic 🙈
Yes you don’t need gloves if you are making food for yourself at home just wash your hands 😵💫 even in restaurants you don’t need it unless you’re touching ready-to-eat foods
They don’t (I work there) none of the meats (except seafood) is halal or kosher. I pack the food and I never seen any halal or kosher certification on the meats. You can get the vegetarian boxes and add your own halal meat
