Your stove was made the year I was born! You give it quite a work out with all your homemade meals. I love to watch you cook…you make it look so effortless. Your family is very blessed with how you nurture and care for them. Congratulations again on the birth of your newest son.

I still have my sourdough starter from my neighbor.. she taught me, but it made it sound complicated. Your videos showed me it doesn't have to be. I usually make two loaves of bread a week and either sourdough pancakes or waffles on the weekend. It works fantastic for our family. Love your passion!

Your food looks so good. It always seems like you're throwing random things together but it turns out really yummy. I've been working back toward cooking from scratch. It tastes much better and I'm not hungry again in 20 minutes. There's a lot to be said for old fashioned cooking!

Just this month I went completely off of dairy and bad oils and mostly off of sugar (I’m super sensitive to gluten and have been off of it for 2 years), and the biggest thing I’ve noticed is that I’m not as hungry after dinner and sometimes I don’t even have a snack before bed, let alone 5 snacks! It’s amazing! (And if anyone wants to judge me for eating too much, I’ve always eaten pretty healthy and I’m not a bit overweight. The excessive small meals was partly from healing from malnourishment.)

Your videos always inspire me to cook/bake. We use to have a farm when most of the kids were still home. Raised our own meat..mostly. Chickens, pigs, milk cow, etc.... Taking care of the farm and my family was such a joy. I always seemed to be in the kitchen. 😊 Now it's just my husband and our youngest but that desire is still there. Thank you for your videos!

Lisa, Great Video! When you have your hog processed you could ask your butcher to slice those hams into thick slices than they shrink wrap each one. One large slice is enough for the whole family. I believe it's fine to mill popcorn in the nutrimill & wondermill because they have stainless steel plates. The mockmill has stone plates, and their instructions say not to. I think both say not to mill anything oily like flax seeds, etc.

Thank you Lisa for the wisdom you share in this video! Loved it as always! As a tip - my husband hunts and so I have had the challenge of deer ribs myself. I season them liberally with salt and pepper, rub them with spicy mustard and cook them for four hours at 220 degrees in the oven. They will be fall off the bone tender and very enjoyable- just make sure to adjust the portions as deer doesn’t yield as much as pork or beef. Lots of blessings to you! ☀️
