It is very rare that I ever watch a TV. I can set up my computer for that. So, the TV in the cockpit is a waste. The one in the bedroom might get used. I'm glad they don't have an entertainment center outside. They are very annoying when someone else thinks the whole park will enjoy their music or their ball game.
Nice to see a Newmarket under 30’. Huge sofa ❤️ That bedroom is phenomenal. I’m don’t like that the generator is on the camp side. Also no windows on the camp side. The lineup storage doors would drive us crazy.
A little expensive for the size. No bunk over the cab. Dark kitchen, needs lights under the cabinets. Love the smaller dining table. Love the dark colors. Needs a 12 volt fridge. Over all pretty good. I do like the head board.
Matt, love your videos!! CCC is hard to find, without going & looking at each RV. Surprised how many nice gas class A's have only 1 to 2000 pounds. I bought 1 that has 4755lbs CCC. Thanks again for a great job!!
Hi Matt and Andrea! It’s a very nice motor home. My likes are the bedroom, the size of the motor home is to get into states parks, and the furniture. My dislikes are there is no kitchen window, the awning on the passenger window, not sure of the back splash. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Really great to see you in real time...love the colors in this, sometimes...and i know I know I am a boomer...too much white and black and grey for me sometimes now.
At this price point it feels like you’re paying for the brand rather than the quality, features, and floorplan. The entry level ACE 30.3 is a more usable RV at a much lower price. Or the Pace Arrow 33D which is on a better chassis, diesel pusher, and better floorplan for a similar price. I like that Andrea explains why she dislikes something. The TV placement is brutal and she explains why it’s her dislike. I like the awning placement. It allows for coverage over the door which is important when camping in the rain. Also, the door won’t hit the awning arm when fully open. In other videos Matt has had a dislike that the door hits the awning arm. The couch/sofa looks nice and comfy but without a clear view of the TV it is irrelevant. This would be a great model to have a flip down TV from the ceiling. No overhead bunk is another dislike. With a mid-chassis door there should be an over the head bunk. The kitchen is another dislike. The low range hood makes stirring a pain in the ass.
Hey, we watch you from Quebec Canada. The major thing that bothers me in alllllll rv's is that I wonder why the hell they put such big kitchen sink!!! Specially in smal and medium size rv's. I would rather have more counter space than a big sink 🤷♀️
I'm ♥- in this Motorhome... Likes: 1. The Dark Wood Color. 2. The Floor Plan. 3. The Extended Kitchen Counter. Dislikes: 1. The Outside Storage Doors...I think Sideways is Safer and Easier. 2. No Overhead Bunks...I ❤ those. 3. The Dinette Should be Bigger, and the Sofa be a 2 Seater instead. 4. The Bedroom Could be Smaller, giving way to a Bigger Bathroom.
Good unit for the price. I can see the family in this. The bathroom is for quick trips, I don’t see this as 45 minute constitutional. My cat perked up on the prime kitty sitting position.
The awning is not a problem for me....the door does not hit the awning when open! I agree about the outside cabinet doors tho! They need to hinge on the side. Tv is not in a good place....but not sure where else it could be? Do not like the backsplash.....great to cover the walls but the color is ugly! Everything else is great!
King bed is better than the 2022 Baystar Sport we saw with a queen. Our Rv is 32.5 feet, and never an issue at state parks. Dislikes: smaller tires, mount for the awning blocks passenger window, darker cabinets, tv location is a deal breaker. small kitchen is also a deal breaker. Likes: exterior paint, pass thru storage, ccc, no drop down bed over cab, king bed.
The kitchen and dining area need to swap. Better to be able to look out the window at your camping spot rather than the hook ups. There seems to be lots of storage space. I'd like to see an outdoor kitchen area in one of those outdoor spaces under the awning, less smells inside. You can get combination microwave and extractor fans, they're better in a small space. A kitchen window is a necessity.
Love the size and quality but they still put vents on floor and just don't like it for obvious reasons. TV definitely not placed well maybe have it fold out from ceiling you would still have access to kitchen, just a thought 🥰
Matt, what is it with the air vents? They put three cramped together in the cab, living room and bedroom. Why didn’t they spread them out across the whole coach? I think it is stupid.
Is the awning arm in the middle of the passenger side window? Too bad that big sink turned out to be 2 small sinks. I really like the overall size of this unit. Id get a portable table and sit on the sofa if I had company
Is there only one tv? The tv placement is terrible and the top latch doors are not great. The colors are nice, the quality looks good and cargo carrying capacity is good. Thanks Matt and Andrea for another great video.
dislike the bathroom across from the table. Nothing like eating while someone is taking a dump. Also agree with TV placement. Newmar has a better solution with folding down from the table side. Over all this was disappointing for a Newmar although I understand the price.l Put a removable table in front of the couch for extra eating areas.
Dislikes: Flip up bay doors, Carpet in the bays, low mounted side cameras, Dinette is tight, and the TV placement is insane and floor vents. Likes: It's short, nice floorplan for its size, nice bedroom.
Love that the bathroom doesn’t have a “come watch me shower in the hallway”👍but the TV is borderline unwatchable on a cold or rainy day and the cheap TPO roof is a huge disappointment☹️
Like that there is no overhead bunk. My pasta pot wouldn’t fit on the stove under that vent, and no dedicated pace for a garbage can. If you have guests, pack a tent for them.
Hopefully they are building them better then when we bought our 2021 Bay Star. In the shop for 9 months got rid of that piece of ****. Over $180 thousand sale price. BAHAHAHA
Wonder why the standard size for motorhomes in the US is 25+ft? If you look at Vanlife people are looking for smaller size motorhomes and all these manufacturers need to do is look at European designs and copy them. I believe the best selling A Class is the smallest size at 25 ft, if a company released an 18-21 ft A class bet people will go crazy and those are pretty standard in UK and Germany.
i like it.... tv spot ... eh.... no plan to watch all the star wars in there.... better things to do outside... only thing i see really, and do like tv spot for other reasons so not exactly a negative... i would like both one where it is and one in front of couch both. rest is great.
I like Newmar, but this floorplan isn't good. Too narrow with slides in , the basement doors a terribly difficult to work with because the doors don't swing up high enough. They should swing out, not up. The cabinets above the couch aren't tall enough to be useful. The kitchen doesn't have enough counter space and the fridge is too small. Yes, the TV is awkwardly located. 30' just isn't long enough, it needs to be 32 or 33' long to have an acceptable floorplan. It's hard to beat the Vista 32YE Winnebago floorplan for an entry level gasser, but Newmar's built quality is better IMO. 32 or 33' is the sweet spot for National and State Parks, you don't have to be under 30', because the rear overhang is usually more than 5'. At 33' long, we've never had a problem, and we've visited over 60 national and state parks over the last 3yrs, including Yellowstone, Yosemite, Tetons, Mt Rainer and Glacier.
1st dislike- bathroom sink. 2nd TV placement. 3rd storage doors lifting up. 1st like Bedroom Size, 2nd Shower size, 3rd kitchen out of the way. I wouldn’t be cooking major meals anyway.
Personally I would rather have a full size queen rather than the RV King - saves 6 inches or so - which the bathroom and kitchen could use - also I know it’s 30 amp rig but at just over 200K there should be a power reel. The roof, the lighting and ducting in the ceiling all look like something out of 80’s - which goes along with overall darkness of that interior. This one is a miss.
I don’t like that it’s not set up for solar, so disappointing when compared to the European manufacturers. Also no drop down bunk, again the European Manufacturers do a much better job with how they incorporate features to their RV’s. Lastly the TV placement is horrible. I do like the size & that you can take it to National Parks.
Likes: Roof ladder, dark wood cabinets, and large shower and bed. Dislikes: Ford chassis, generator is under the bed, TPO roof and no combo washer/dryer.
That range hood is way too low. Doesn’t look like it would fit a tall pot and it looks like it would prevent you from seeing what’s cooking in the back.
Hey Matt I got a question you say a kitty cat going to dash what about my big dog can he fit up there please let me know I'm just joking with you have a good day Matt keep making your videos
I’m sorry to say Newmar missed the mark big time! There are so many features I do not like. 1. Can see the TV 2. Needs side swinging storage doors 3. Hate the dark cabinets! 5. Kitchen horrible lay out 6. Toilet poor placement 7. Carpet in the slide out 8. Way too expensive for that interior designed unit. Sorry Newmar you need to use more light cabinets with an up to date look. 😞
LIKE THE THREE SEATER COUCH THE FOLD UP DESK THE MASTER BEDROOM LAYOUT THE SHOWER 🚿 DON’T LIKE THE SMALL DINETTE THE TV REPLACEMENT THE MASTER BED 🛌 SIZE IT NEEDS TO BE QUEEN SIZE BED 🛌 THE CARPET THE FLIP UP OUTSIDE DOORS THE SMALL BATHROOM NEEDS TO BE BIGGER THE SMALL KITCHEN NEWMAR MASTER QUEEN SIZE BED 🛌 INSTEAD OF KING SIZE BED 🛌 PLEASE
Dont like awning arms in general and to split across the passenger window is terrible..very poor design feature and should have gone with an armless awning. The location of the generator is on the wrong side, so hopefully one never has to use it while sitting outside…again, poor design. Very tight to walkthrough with slides in. Cabinets are dark and tv is a terrible placement. Like the sofa, frig and kitchen layout, king size bed, and great shower
223k - I wouldn't pay 22k for that design mess. When I looked at the awing arm on the window I thought it was a prank like whats wrong with this picture game. The TV! come on man ! fire the person that did the inside design, it's so freaking dark I turned up my brightness to see if it was my computer screen,. the bathroom is unusable ...it just is, you shouldn't have to get black and blue legs just to take a pee or poo
I have a 2013, the TPR roof is a TOTALLY CRAPPY ROOF!!! Frameless windows suck because they don't seal!!! Don't invest in Newmar...building crap!!! Kitchen layouts suck.
I wish Andrea would stop "momming" Matt when he goes up or down the ladders... he's a grown man. If he hasn't figured out how to climb or descend by now? There is no hope he ever would... so sad!
Andrea takes your advice and doesn't say a damn word on the next video and poor Matt breaks his neck.....Andrea would blame herself as she now has to blend his steak dinners and feed him through a straw....and wipe.......the......sweat off his forehead......who wants that to happen?......nobody! And by the way.....do you yell at your family or friends that tell you to "drive safe" on odd occasions? It's just a natural thing that people do..... but like you, I never took their advice......I always take my seatbelt off as soon as I'm out of the view of these busy body people who tell me how to drive...just to spite them....and speed! But as a kid I always went against society norms, just like the people that told me "not to run with scissors"......I wear an eye patch to this day sadly.....oh well....
