Newport Lecture Series: Halsey Alpha Group with James R. FitzSimonds 

U.S. Naval War College Professor James R. FitzSimonds isn't used to talking about the Halsey Alpha Advanced Research Program in an unclassified environment. But he provides an insightful overview about this China-focused group in the final presentation of our 2021-2022 Newport Lecture Series recorded June 1, 2022. The faculty-led Halsey team explores East Asia conflict scenarios to produce recommendations for the U.S. Navy’s most senior ranking decision makers and theater operational forces. FitzSimonds has directed the research group since 2003.
