Gareth, I’ve never thought that fishing was about the catching of fish, and I’d like to think that the vast majority of your subscribers feel the same way. As you have said so many times, it’s about getting out, enjoying the surroundings, and just taking a break from whatever your life may be throwing at you at that particular time.

I know your vids are based on fishing but I enjoy the scenic shots as well… which you got a good eye for 👍

Great vid, Me and Dad went to the Knapp yesterday for the morning High Tide nothing special but we managed 9 fish between us Doggies / Whiting and a Rockling, Looking forward to the next fishing video my friend

Well said Gareth, fishing for me is about the whole experience, the planning making rigs getting bait,and being out and next to nature, catching is a bonus but it's not everything! If anything for me, it makes me question my fishing, and gets me thinking what could I have don't different, its all part of the enjoyment of the sport, you never stop learning, its why it's called fishing, and not catching. Thank you for another video. I will watch no matter if its a good days fishing or a blank. I'm from Ireland myself but I lived over in Wales for about 4 years I was working as a Head chef in Haverfordwest. I Fished the river that runs through the town. I was told it was really good for bass and seatrout. I had 6 blanks in a row and was going to give up on it. I just thought I'd give it another go. That morning I had 6 bass nothing special biggest was just going on 3lb and I had a surprise catch a lovely mullet 4lb 2oz on ragworm couldn't believe my luck. PB for me by miles as I had only manged a 1lb 4oz on bread from a harbour wall back home in Ireland. I continued to fish that river over the few years I was there, managed 27 bass biggest 4lb 7oz 6 mullet but never managed to beat my PB 3 seatrout and 2 flounder. So as you say never judge a spot by a blank some days the fish just aren't there.

Keep positive buddy.As always a great video, that time of the year everywhere is quiet, done goldcliff last night and had 2 tiny whiting. Now the debate of where to go today to drown the rest of the rag.

I hear what you’re saying about views dropping for blanks, but I always think if viewers just want to see fish, google images is probably their best bet, fishing is about sooo much more than simply catching fish, blanks or not, keep the videos coming, I for one love your content and am grateful for the effort you put in.

Blanks are there, so that you keep coming back to try again. Great video, very enjoyable to watch. from my experience and I heard it from other fishermen, not many fish are caught on a high spring tide, go about 2 days after and the fish return or come on to feeding.

So often you view a fishing video and all you get to see is the water and close by shoreline. Love watching the area around the venue as it gives you a chance to get to know the area, any chance of showing the parking area you use even if it's on google. Keep them coming even without the fish as we all know what's its like to blank but still enjoy the experience.

Great video as always mate. Keep doing what your doing, i enjoy watching them wether you catch or blank. Atleast you’re out having a go! Brighton last weekend was ok, unfortunately no plaice as the wind was howling and the water was very murky. Ended up with 9 whiting, 1 rockling snd 2 bass around 1.5lb. I enjoyed it though, plaice are definitely on my hitlist now though lol. All the best Gar 👍🏻
